Lukas Waite (‘27, CA) was dominant in relief tonight. 1.2 of shutout ball with 3Ks. T93 w/ the heater and landing his sharp upper 70s breaker (~2600). 6-2 frame and is uber athletic. @PG_Uncommitted #WWBAWorlds @California_PG

A look at SoCal Redbirds 17U's Tyson Connelly (@Tyson19Connelly) on the bump this afternoon at the @FiveToolCA #DaveRobertsWS. The RHP punched out 8 batters over 4 innings of work, shutting down the opposing offense over his final 3 innings after giving up a few runs in the first before settling in.

Quality start going 5.1 innings and allowing 3 ER. Velocity ticked up a bit from last live viewing and was able to command the zone with all four pitches. 7-0, 1.42 ERA in the regular season this spring. (4-1, 0.78 ERA in ‘24).

Hall provided the biggest swing of the game with a no-doubt, go ahead 2-run homer that put SM up 4-3 in the 6th. This gives him now 5 HRs in ‘25.

Entered the game with the tying run on 3rd and 1 out in the 6th and shut the door for a 5-out save. Velocity saw a major jump from 1st viewing this spring when he started on the mound. Aggressive thrower with sharp FB/SL tunnel.
First Live AB’s back. Feels great to be back on the mound. Fastballs (Clip 1/2) and change ups (Clip 3/4).
