Today @MaxPowerMining $MAXX $MAXXF confirms the discovery of near-surface lithium-rich clays over a large area of their Willcox Playa property in Arizona.
Notably, they've also successfully separated the lithium from the clay through their collaboration with UC Berkeley which greatly increases the economical feasibility of the abundance of lithium that is now confirmed to be in the Playa.

Global capacity for #lithium metal production is insufficient to support the growth of the #lithiummetal battery industry, according to Benchmark's Solid State and Lithium Metal Batteries Forecast.
If all suitable lithium metal produced in 2024 was used for lithium metal #batteries, the industry could support 5 to 10 GWh of cell production.
