Whenever you are told “Trust the experts” you are better off doing the opposite.
Remember when Covid “Trust the experts” led to a civilizational hoax that broke our economy and retarded our children?
The AI “Trust the experts” version will make that pale in comparison.
I’d encourage all of you to approach this with wonder but also a healthy dose of skepticism.
I’d estimate that 90% of marketers in today’s workforce are completely unqualified for their jobs.
The internet and AI made the barrier to entry so low that anyone can send emails, set up ads, or build a website, but having access to those tools doesn't mean you know how to market.
The core issue is that so many marketers lack actual fundamentals to drive results at scale.
This includes crafting a clear and compelling message, building offers that convert, and interpreting data accurately so you know what is actually driving results.
So if you’re hiring a marketer for your organization right now… I encourage you to filter candidates through this lens.
Where you are today is the compounding result of hundreds of micro-decisions made over the past 5 years.
If you’re in a good spot, applaud yourself. Your consistency paid off.
If you’re in a tough spot, start pivoting today. Good decisions take time to show up, but they always compound. Trust the process

I can't help but feel that the system the U.S. has been operating on is going to break.
- Over 50% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck
- Cumulative inflation stripped nearly 30% of purchasing power since 2020
- Record $1.25T in U.S. credit card debt with interest rates soaring past 22%
- College costs are at all-time highs while over 41% of recent grads can't find college-level jobs
- A record 25M young adults live with parents because rent and housing are unaffordable despite 70% being employed
- Foreclosures are up 20% year-over-year as housing costs price out normal buyers
- The recent food pathogen outbreaks show our industrial food supply is compromised
- We have a $4.5T healthcare system that profits off managing chronic illness rather than curing it
- Politicians are deeply corrupt and serve corporate lobbies over citizens
- The mainstream media intentionally spreads false narratives based on the views of their advertisers
- National debt is approaching $40T, with over $1T spent annually just on interest
I uploaded a video of myself walking to Gemini and prompted it to diagnose flaws in my mobility.

Wild times…
This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, but one observation I’ve noticed is the more you try to over systemize a process, the less likely it is your team will follow the process correctly.
Moral of the story - cut the red tape, keep things simple.

The AI Singularity
The argument goes like this:
1. Humans build an AGI.
2. The AGI becomes good at AI research.
3. It designs a smarter AI.
4. That smarter AI designs an even smarter AI.
5. The cycle repeats faster and faster.
Looking at the results and capabilities from the various labs over the past few weeks I would say we are firmly in this loop now.
The next 18months will be wild.
Recursive self improvement will dramatically increase capability very quickly from here.
Marginal costs of all models will go to ~$0.
If you have the luxury of cutting all distractions & locking in for a year, do it. It’s been the best decision of my life. Over the last year, I’ve:
- Increased my income by 2.5x
- Became proficient in AI
- Reached peak physical shape
