If you aren’t following Max Fire Box & Max Fire Training, you’re missing out! With videos & demonstrations available on most social media platforms, there is always an opportunity for learning! YouTube: @maxfirebox FB: @maxfirebox & @maxfiretraining IG: @max_fire_box_mft

Why is the spot temperature dangerous? Looking at the side of the Max Fire Box, our spot temperature shows the ambient temperature…mere inches to the right in our field of view we have temps upward of 1200 degrees! Low sensitivity and all! Stay Intelligently Aggressive!

Fighting Attic Fires? Check out the view through the Seek Attack PRO! Our fellow firefighters in Georgia make good progress from heavy involvement to knock back. We can see several key areas with this video: * Potential entanglement hazards from the ductwork wire * Potential truss collapse * The ability to direct the stream and hit any superheated areas that aren't visible optically And more! Join us for our upcoming webinar: "How to Evaluate a Thermal Imaging Camera" with Andy Starnes. Don't miss out on this essential webinar created to help fire departments make informed decisions when purchasing thermal imaging cameras.    📅 Date: 1/26/24  ⏰ Time: 9am PST   Register here: lnkd.in/gfBpyTPy

We know that smoke contains unburned fuel, right? Using the Max Fire Box with Ventilation attachment we can recreate a vent point ignition, showing the effects of not 3D’ing the door prior to entry or sending water down stream as we advance our lines to the seat of the fire.

Interested in Credentialed, Peer Reviewed, and Certified Thermal Imaging Training? Welcome to Introduction to Tactical Firefighting Thermology! This course is credentialed by Western Kentucky University, peer-reviewed by certified thermologists at Kentucky Thermal Institute, and developed by Thermography Certified Fire Service Professional Instructor Andy Starnes at Insight Training. The Kentucky State Fire Commission now approves this course for continuing education credit hours! This affordable program requires all students to complete the Introduction to the Science of Thermology as a prerequisite to provide the student with a fundamental understanding of infrared science. There is no other program like this in the world! The fire service now has affordable thermal imaging training that has been standardized, with certified thermologists reviewing the program for its accuracy and relevance. These courses are online. In less than 60 seconds, you can see why we stand by the Max Fire Box as a teaching aid. Temperature Modes? ✅Emissivity? ✅ Convective Currents? ✅ Thermal Layers? ✅ Image Enhancement? ✅ Dangers of the spot temp? ✅ And the list goes on! Stay Intelligently Aggressive

Another of the many concepts we can use the Max Fire Box to demonstrate; here, we can see the thermal layers as well as great convection currents using the Bullard TIC! Stay Intelligently Aggressive! Insight Training, LLC

Headed to train in the Baltimore Maryland area with the Max Fire Box. We are looking forward to several days of great training & fellowship.

Emissivity is the ability of a material to absorb or reflect thermal energy. In this video, we can see several examples of Emissivity and how misleading the spot temperature can be. Stay Intelligently Aggressive! #firefighter #thermalimaging

Got Questions about the new Seek Thermal Fire PRO 300? 1. Is it a situational awareness TIC? Yes, the ultimate situational awareness TIC provides the highest resolution, fastest refresh rate, and lowest thermal sensitivity, with photo and video capture for $999. 2. What is the battery life? Six hours and it is rechargeable with the docking station that comes standard with the device. 3. What is SV1? Seek Thermal’s new image enhancement software provides exceptional detail and clarity, allowing for better decision-making. 4. Is it well insulated? Inside and out! The internal components can withstand up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 5 minutes internal temperatures. At the same time, the exterior is made of a durable PPSU housing that can withstand a 6’ drop onto concrete. 5. Is it the same as the Attack PRO? The Fire PRO 300 is similar to having a small clone of the Attack PRO. It has the same detector but it doesn’t have the same housing as the Attack PRO. It provides the same image quality in smaller housing. In this way, fire departments that purchase both the Attack PRO and Fire PRO 300 are not limiting their firefighters when they need proper situational awareness. Monday, Insight Instructor Lightly spent the day with the dedicated firefighters of the Middletown City Division of Fire for our 8-hour hybrid Introduction to Thermal Imaging program, complete with an interactive lecture, Max Fire Box burn and learn, and doll house burn. Throughout the day, students obtained valuable technical and application driven information about their current cache of Thermal Imaging cameras as well as comparisons of other fire-service TICs. No sooner than John had his TICs and Max Fire Box loaded up, the positive feedback messages started coming in! Simultaneously, Instructor Andy Starnes was assisting the James City, VA Fire Department with our Purchasing Implementation Critera program! Thank you for your continued support!
