🚨Steven Wright of Owensboro, Kentucky, spent years online branding himself as a defender of Christian “family values” and a protector kids from the mythical threat of transgender “ideology.” He accused Joe Biden of being a p*dophile and said people who voted against Trump in 2020 are “perverts.”
Kentucky State Police say the 62-year-old—who posed with a slaughtered pig in vehicle like something out of a horror movie—was arrested and charged with s*xual abuse of a minor under 12.
His arrest came from the same investigation that led KSP to charge 32-year-old Wesley Wright of Morgantown with two counts of first-degree r*pe of a child under 12 back in August.
Wesley was already in the Daviess County Detention Center on unrelated charges. Police haven’t clarified how, or if, the two men who share the same last name are connected, and the investigation is ongoing.

🚨NEW: Our critique of a major "brain sex" study is now published.
@AdamRochussen, @NeuroSGS, and I evaluate a central premise of gender activism and medicine: that trans-identifying people have brains that are shifted away from their sex and toward their "gender identity."
The "brain sex" concept is so central because it purports to provide an empirical scientific basis for the notion that a child can be "born in the wrong body" and would therefore benefit from body-altering medical procedures to align their body with their mind/brain.
The problem is that this concept is pure pseudoscience and propped up by deeply flawed methods and badly misinterpreted data.
One of the most prominent studies is Kurth et al. (2022), published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine, which claimed that the brains of transgender women are shifted away from their sex and toward their "gender identity." The paper became one of the journal’s most accessed articles and has been cited in major media outlets, scientific papers, legal arguments, and policy discussions involving pediatric gender medicine and sports.
We point out that the paper's headline conclusion rests on a series of serious methodological problems.
Each group contained only 24 participants. The authors used poorly justified parametric methods, one-tailed post hoc tests, made no correction for multiple comparisons, and omitted important robustness checks. Once accounted for, the main finding is no longer statistically significant.
An even more glaring failure of the study was that it failed to account for sexual orientation, despite its known association with neuroanatomical variation and despite the authors having the relevant participant data needed to examine it!
We each repeatedly requested the anonymized participant-level data from the paper's lead author so we could independently evaluate the findings.
We received no response.
The evidence simply does not justify the sweeping "brain sex" conclusion for which this study has become famous.

The Washington Post released a similar statement—
“The Washington Post will not publish any photographs of today’s presidential events — including Trump’s departure from the White House and his events at the United Nations in New York — until midnight Eastern Time, joining a collective effort with photographers in other newsrooms covering the White House in a show of support of the banned outlets," said Post spokesperson Olivia Petersen.
These new announcements come after major news outlets including CBS News, ABC News, CNN, Fox News, and NBC News suspended press pool coverage of Trump over his decision last Friday to ban CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from the White House over their alleged "fake news" stories. That collective pushback resulted in a particularly embarrassing incident for Trump, because there was no audio for his big White House helipad ribbon cutting ceremony today.
With an even bigger week ahead as the United Nations convene in New York, Trump is going to be feeling the burn from his authoritarian power grab. He's drunk with his own power and in obvious cognitive decline, which is why he thought that he could shred the First Amendment without consequence. Thankfully, the media is fighting back — and winning bigly.

They organized to demand fair pay for their own cotton. In response, a mob, U.S. troops, three days of hunting Black sharecroppers through the fields—and the deaths of 100 to 200+ Black men, women, and children.
This is the The Elaine Massacre of 1919.
Their crime was organizing a union so cotton planters would finally pay them a fair price for their own crops.
When white landowners found out, they didn't send lawyers. They sent a mob of hundreds, backed by U.S. troops.
Twelve Black survivors were then sentenced to death for "inciting" the violence done to them.
They organized for fair pay. The response was armed violence, a massacre, and then death sentences for the people who survived it.

A deep crisis of accountability surrounds Living Word Church in Midland, Michigan, where three top church leaders have been convicted of child sexual abuse within a two-year window. The systematic abuse has resulted in lengthy prison sentences for a youth pastor, an associate pastor, and an elder.
The Living Word Church maintains strong institutional and cultural ties to Donald Trump and the Republican Party. The church’s leader, Mark Barclay, is an outspoken Trump supporter whose ministry actively blends conservative politics with faith, exemplified in early 2025 when an affiliated pastor gifted him a custom, gold-plated "MAGA special edition" AR-15 rifle featuring Trump's likeness.
Former youth minister James Paul Randolph (60) was sentenced on March 19, 2026, to 25 to 40 years in prison for the long-term sexual abuse of a child. Randolph, who had a prior 1985 conviction for sexual assault, used his pulpit to publicly target his victim, weaponizing his spiritual authority to enforce her silence before his August 2025 conviction.
The church's former associate pastor, Randy Saylor, and his son, church elder Brandon Saylor, were also convicted and sentenced to prison for separate instances of child sexual abuse. The victim in the Randolph case testified that seeing the Saylors finally brought to justice gave her the courage to come forward with her own allegations.
With all three leaders behind bars, Randolph's legal team is currently seeking to overturn his verdict. A motion hearing for a new trial is scheduled in the Midland County Circuit Court for October 9, 2026, as the community continues to reckon with the scale of the abuse.
