Ga Tech this week beat 1-10 Boston college 36-34. A BC team who had not scored more than 24 points since a 42-40 loss to Michigan St in week 2.
BYU beat 6-4 TCU 44-13 who beat SMU 35-24. For reference SMU beat Boston college 45-13 8 days ago.

It absolutely, 100%, without a doubt matters. There’s no thinking otherwise. It matters. Rankings shape perspective, perspective/ perception shapes narrative, narrative absolutely matters in a subjective, committee pick based system. Indefensible to say it doesn’t matter in the end.

What a slap in the face to Oklahoma State.
NCAA said it had "sufficient grounds for a multiyear postseason ban" on Michigan ... BUT ... that would "unfairly penalize" athletes "for the actions of coaches and staff who are no longer associated with the Michigan football program."
