#WATER & people have a connection. The #drone shot is of the #ThreeRiversRace & @MaudTrust in @BroadsNP. A study says that 'being near a body of water has therapeutic benefits, ranging from increased happiness to creativity’. It boosts mine! #sailing #Norfolk @ThePhotoHour

Great to have you aboard Graeme!
Having the wind in YOUR SAILS is not only a positive but a must when you take part in #sailingraces. We sailed on the #WherryMaud to watch part of the @threeriversrace. It is Europe’s toughest inland #sailing race - 50 miles in the @BroadsNP. Congrats winners! 8.5hrs! #norfolk

Thanks for this great video Graeme!
SAIL AWAY with me on the #Wherry Maud on the #Norfolk & #Suffolk Broads. She is a traditional Norfolk trading wherry, built in 1899, and one of only two left #sailing. Enjoy the tranquil moments in this area of outstanding natural beauty. @BroadsNP @visitnorfolk @NNorfolkLiving

Congratulations Graeme, surely no competition!
An image or two that I’ve taken of the Norfolk Wherry Maud have been short listed for the annual National Historic Ships photography competition, worth a viewing 🤞@MaudTrust @Iandwakefield @visitnorfolk @BroadsNP @BroadsAuth

A couple of weekends back I spent a lovely day on the #WherryMaud on the #NorfolkBroads and failed to take a photo of her! I was obviously far too chilled. If you become a member you can be that chilled too! wherrymaudtrust.org/sail-wit…

Thanks so much to @LovetheBroads for helping us keep #NorfolkBroads history alive!
Would a grant help your project in the @BroadsNP? We were delighted to fund the iconic @MaudTrust this week - if you have a project that would help wildlife, the environment or access in the Broads we'd love to hear from you – bit.ly/3iymXdc or [email protected]

Two Mills -Two Wherries. We don't often see the two historic #Norfolk #Suffolk sailing boats - Wherry Maud and Albion in one scene. The black sail of Wherry Maud is followed by Albion (just visible) into the River Thurne @MaudTrust @ThurneMill @BroadsNP @NatHistShips @BroadsAuth

📢 Thanks for all your support. WE DID IT!! 💖 The Wherry Maud Trust campaign to raise money for a new support boat for Maud began in May 2021 and ran until the end of July. The full £10,500 needed was raised. The picture shows the boat we boat to accompany #wherrymaud.
