Why would a Jew-obsessive at the heart of the UK establishment concur with the view that the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitzโthe largest camp, where 1.1 million were killed, 90% of them Jewsโwas getting too much attention, then try to refocus the conversation on a camp (liberated on a different day) one-tenth the size, where only 15% of the prisoners were Jews, and refer to the โstunning courageโ of all the non-Jewish groups?
Itโs almost as if sheโs a propagandist who finds Jewish suffering inconvenient to her attempts to paint Jews as oppressors and is even willing to whine about the commemoration of Auschwitz.
In general, though, itโs wonderful to see someone write about the non-Jewish victims of the camps, although it would be nice if it werenโt written by an open antisemite.

Yeah, so my father arrived in the UK in 1966 as a legal immigrant. He and his fellow Indian immigrants didnโt claim the entire country was theirs, didnโt kick 100s of 1000s of Brits out of their homes, and didnโt set up an Indian ethno-national state in the UK. There is something deeply disturbing about the fact that the man entrusted with Britainโs national security is married to a journalist who has publicly questioned the testimony of Israeli rape victims, pooh-poohed solidarity with Israel the day after October 7 and apparently supported a proscribed terror group.
Jonathan Powell, Keir Starmerโs national security adviser, occupies one of the most sensitive positions in government. He is privy to Britainโs deepest intelligence secrets, helps shape our response to terrorism and advises the prime minister on matters of war and peace. His wife, Sarah Helm, is entitled to her own political opinions, however grotesque. But her social media posts cannot be dismissed as a family matter.
Astonishingly, just as those questions are coming under scrutiny, Helm has chosen to wade into another highly sensitive controversy about British tradition, Gaza subversion and antisemitism. In her head, this must be an expression of courageous defiance. Glory to the Mater! To everybody else, it is a danger to our national security.

A Palestinian Arab state was established in 1946. It was granted 78% of all the territory of British Mandatory Palestine, and it is called Jordan. The remaining 22% of the land was to be divided once more between Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews. It was called the UN Partition Plan of 1947. The Jews accepted this plan and established their state, while Arabs rejected the plan and started the war against Israel. This war has lasted for nearly 80 years with varying intensity, and the Arabs still reject a two-state solution, which would mean recognition of Israel as a Jewish state. They want to establish their state on all the territory "from the river to the sea," and won't agree to anything else.
And, besides, a "Palestinian people" has never existed in history, no matter what leftist and Muslim propagandists may claim. "Palestine" has always been the name of a territory, but not of a state or a nation.
