Plan, ship, learn, repeat. Life is to short to slow down. This year I have created many apps to help me learn and understand different concepts and have grown a ton from each one.

How do you support your product users? My people are mostly Gen X, they hate salespeople, distrust software companies, and have been burned by the industry for decades. So I white-glove every single user from start to finish. No exceptions. Every user is known by name and has direct access to me.

Nothing better than opening my inbox to actual user requests. Wysper is still in beta, and this is already the second person asking to embed the dashboard into their existing work OS. Alright then. First feature request is on the way 馃憖

Took Opus 5.5 out for a spin and had it one-shot a 3D animation of a PB&J sandwich being built. I mean, who doesn't love a well built PB&J? 馃榾

Woke up to a Teams message from the CEO with a screenshot of the new CRM he built with Claude. Looks like another subscription killed this month. We're systematically replacing all the overpriced software that has plagued my industry for years, and I have to say it feels good.

Everyday is a good day to learn something new! Today I've been thinking about functional synergy, basically when two or more features work together and create something better than either one could on its own. What are you working on today? 馃憞

AI has finally given me the ability to replace software from 2010 that should never have made it out of development in the first place.

Power User achieved. 馃榿 I swear I spend more time in ClickUp than I do anyway else. What are you using for project management?

53 Dad, Grandpa, Designer, and Creative Director. Day: Keep a sign shop functioning. Night: Teach machines wisdom and prevent database homicide. Weekends: Beer, Harley, tattoos, and recovering from whatever Opus did Friday. I love art, long walks on the beach, and interesting people to follow. Show me what you're building and say hi! 馃憞

Ran out of Fable usage. Guess it's time to switch to the black sheep of the family.

Environmental graphic design (EGD) taught me to think in systems. What needs to exist, how to design it, and where it belongs. Now I'm applying that same thinking to software.

November 25th of last year, I woke up and decided to start fixing my own problems. I failed a lot, learned a lot, and I regret nothing.

What are your thoughts on white glove service? I've been personally helping wysper.cc users get set up and comfortable with it. Granted, it's still in beta, but I'm leaning toward keeping that personal touch after launch. Does that matter to you when choosing software? Should that be included, or offered as an optional paid service?

My feed is full of people wanting to connect. Here I am! Hit the follow button and we may be fast friends by lunch. Or not, but at least we follow each other 馃槀

Context is king. If you don't own it, the model will fill the gaps for you. Knowledge > assumptions

In my industry, a designer can create the most beautiful monument sign ever seen, but without an engineer signing off on it, it doesn't get built. Maybe there is a product idea hiding here somewhere.

What are you not building this weekend? Sometimes the best code is no code at all.

Just dawned on me that I've been designing long enough to remember the arrival of web 2.0. Every client wanted glossy vitamin capsules for buttons, reflections on their logos, and overnight the entire internet looked like it had just been waxed. 馃槃
