I went and voted for Alberta independence yesterday , there was 10 referendum questions …. This was one of them ! HOW IS THAT NOT A LAW ALREADY?!?!?!?! ‘Hello import! Thanks for coming to Canada! Here’s your class 1, free healthcare, free education and free sponsorship to bring your whole family here to suck off the taxpayer tit! And you know what?! You also should vote on who runs this dumpster fire of a country! Have a great stay!’ 🤮

Canada does not need an additional 15 million Indians. We should send these highly qualified international students back to India, so that they can enrich their own country.
Saint John, New Brunswick: This man was caught dumping multiple bags of garbage at a playground and even threw some into the Saint John river. We need harsh punishments for illegal dumping before Canada is turned into a third world country.

I'm seeing a lot of people who are unhappy with what James Hetfield said trying to counter it with "errr bhut Metallica wrote '...And Justice for All' and that's a political album". Unfortunately for them, it's not quite the gotcha they think it is. While the album famously doesn't take aim at any one political side, a substantial part of ...And Justice for All attacks authoritarianism, censorship, ideological conformity and the suppression of individual freedoms. All themes which can be heavily associated with authoritarian communist regimes, and ironically, the very sort of intolerance towards opposing views that can be found among those cheering on the likes of Macklemore and other leftist artists who turn their concerts into "Free Palestine" rallies. So yes, Metallica once recorded an album that was, in large part, political. But there's a difference between writing songs that challenge political institutions and ideologies and using your concerts as a platform to lecture audiences about what they should believe. And it's perfectly reasonable to interpret ...And Justice for All as challenging some of the very attitudes Hetfield was addressing in his speech.
Metallica frontman James Hetfield took a swipe at artists who use their concerts to lecture audiences about politics during the band's Las Vegas residency. In what could easily be seen as a dig at the likes of Macklemore, Hetfield told the crowd: "Unless you live in Vegas, you've come a long way to spend some time with Metallica. We're grateful for that. Your travels, the money you spend, the time it took, thanks for coming to celebrate with us. And I just gotta say, Metallica is not here, like some other entertainers, to influence you with their bullshit. We are here to forget about all the outside shit. Metallica's agenda is love, energy and heavy music, baby!" Hetfield has rarely spoken openly about his politics, but past interviews suggest he holds many conservative values. On Joe Rogan's podcast in 2016, he explained how he'd moved his family away from the San Francisco Bay Area, having grown tired of what he saw as its political intolerance and elitism. As a Metallica fan, this is incredibly based! 🤘

Incredibly funny alliance of characters in the “shoot the critically endangered tiger to save the retard” camp. It’s like… environmentalist leftists who post shit like “humans are a plague!” but have decided its ableist not to kill the tiger to save the retard because they think he was autistic or something, and rightoids who post shit like “I would glass all of india to protect this bunny” and usually pretend to care about the third world destroying nature/chinese people cooking living animals or eating rare wildlife or whatever. Feeding that entire camp to the tiger.

These people actually see the world in terms of good guys and bad guys. They think that if one side if bad, the other is good by default, and vice-versa. It's such a baby way of looking at the world.
If you believe Hamas are the good guys, you are retarded.

Alberta has a long history of welcoming a responsible and sustainable number of newcomers to our province who come here, get a job, build a life, and contribute to our province. Unfortunately, over the last 10 years the federal system has let temporary programs grow far beyond what they were designed for, and it’s putting pressure on the housing, schools and health care every family relies on. Temporary residents contribute about $150 million to our tax base annually, yet the cost to provide services for them is over $1 billion. It’s simply not fair to Alberta taxpayers. That’s why referendum proposes ways Alberta can: ✔️moderate population growth ✔️prioritize jobs for Albertans ✔️strengthen social services On October 19, Albertans have a chance to have their say on how immigration works in our province.
