We are super excited about our new partnership with @partisiampc - a lot more to come here soon but privacy preserving agentic workflow automation sounds awesome to us - even if that is a mouthful! LFG 🚀
Bonus Announcement: The Cherry on Top of Shipmas! 🥳
Just when you thought the 12 Days of Shipmas were over, we’ve saved something extra special for last…
We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with @KataraAi, an AI-powered workflow automation platform for Developer Experience (DevX).
What does this mean for Partisia Blockchain?
✦ Enhanced Developer Documentation: Katara’s cutting-edge AI tools will transform our technical docs, making them more efficient, developer-friendly, and easier to navigate.
✦ AI-Enabled Workflows: Streamlined processes to improve efficiency and responsiveness, ensuring developers building on Partisia have the best resources at their fingertips.
✦ Confidential AI Processing: Early conversations are underway for Katara to leverage our Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology, enabling their AI to securely work with confidential documentation while maintaining privacy at its core. 👀
This collaboration underscores our dedication to providing a world-class developer experience and building a robust ecosystem.

App Specific Rollups leads to App specific Block explorers
Heck, App Explorers!
Massive design change will come to how we use block explorers.
It will not just about seeing blocks, it will be about what the blocks mean. I have some ideas, will share soon.

Payments are the next big opportunity in crypto. And global web2 companies are paying attention.
Several major crypto payments initiatives have been announced in just the last 2 months, primarily from web2 companies:
@Shopify & @solana partner. Shopify users can now pay in USDC using Solana Pay.
@PayPal launches its own Paxos-issued stablecoin PYUSD, available on Venmo and select exchanges.
@Visa expands its stablecoin settlement pilot to Solana and to merchant acquirers Worldpay and Nuvei. Separately, Visa enables gas fees to be paid off-chain via Visa card.
@Citi announces new tokenization services to provide institutional clients with efficient cross-border payment solutions for cash management & trade finance.
@gnosischain announces @gnosispay & Gnosis Card for a vertically integrated payment network tied to self-custodial wallets.
@X gets required US license to add crypto payments to its platform.
Each of these initiatives is focused on bridging web2<>web3 payment rails, with newer blockchain advancements like rollups and account abstraction enabling some of this progress.
These initiatives also serve as early proof points for the tangible value that blockchains and global digital financial infrastructure can bring to today's $1.6T global payments space. This recent momentum is just the beginning for the growing opportunity in crypto payments.

What are Gateways?!
They're access points that make it convenient and easy to interact with decentralized infrastructure projects.
But they're not always well understood.
So, here's a brief journey into the Gatewayverse... 🍿

who wants to help build the decentralised version of this - where one single entity doesn't define the future of foundation models?

With over 17,000 node runners globally, and relays growing by 41% in the last 12 months, they’re leading developments in DePIN.
Are you ready?

The major win of going modular is that we focus 100% on core utility.
That increases our development velocity.
Which gets us to breakthroughs like permissionless gateways and on chain QoS faster.

I got the impression while at Token 2049 that not many people know how far @AvailProject is in terms of production readiness and implementation complexity
Some stats:
- started within @0xPolygon in late 2020 and spun out by me and @prabalbanerjee in Mar 23
- mainnet in Q1 2024
- one of 2 projects to have DAS (data availability sampling) and the first project with Kademlia DHT in testnet
- Only project to have DAS with KZG polynomial commitments and validity proofs on testnet
- Ramping up partnerships and marketing after coming out of the overall Polygon org
- We already have 23 partners who we are closely working with in terms of integrations
- Team strength is up to 33 now
- Already have teams like @dymension running their incentivized testnet with 10s of rollups actively running and 100s of rollups deployed with Avail DA
- Integrations already live on testnet with @sovereign_labs, @MadaraStarknet, @RollkitDev, @PaimaStudios, @RiscZero, @vistaralabs, @alt_layer and many more
- First of a kind Op-EVM sovereign optimistic rollup prototype built on Avail with working fraud proofs
- ZK light client bridge from Avail to Ethereum with @SuccinctLabs
- Integration with various wallets such as @subwalletapp and more to embed DA light clients with validity proof verifiers - Metamask Snap integration coming in the next quarter or so
- Our Exploration team is working on building a Validium/L3 solution with Polygon zkEVM
- Optimistic chain integration coming soon with OPStack
- ~100 external Tier-1 validators on our Kate testnet (to be scaled to 1000 eventually)
- Proof aggregation PoC done internally to enable asynchronous messaging between 2 zk rollups
Pretty sure I missed a bunch of stuff that we are up to - will need to ramp up our marketing game
Not really concerned about being the first "modular" blockchain to launch, although we might just launching as the first - we certainly aspire to be the last one standing.

Here are some key points on value accrual and rollup economics shared by @anuragarjun at #Token2049
1⃣The way we think about value accrual will change as we go forward.
2⃣About 70% to 90% of rollup cost is spent publishing data transactions to Ethereum.
3⃣Once base layers like Avail and Celestia launch, the economics for rollups will change drastically; this is also due to how execution is done. It's no longer re-execution of transactions.
4⃣Validity proofs and optimistic rollups reduce the cost of running a blockchain. That means where value accruals happen will also change.
5⃣Based on an estimate by Avail, rollups pay roughly $1300 per MB for publishing data on Ethereum, which is massive and will go down.
6⃣Value accrual will stop occurring in one area and move to other areas.
7⃣There's value accrual on both the data availability (DA) layer and the execution layer.
8⃣Today, a majority of L2s conduct transactions in ETH. Where is value accrual on that?
9⃣You see more innovation on the rollup side in terms of native tokens being created for fees, L3 being built on top of L2. So that question will change once the DA landscape changes.
