We’ve been working on this at the individual level for years. Time to scale it up.
Hospitals should heal people—and that includes the food they serve.
Patients deserve meals made with real, nutritious ingredients that help them recover, not highly processed foods that fuel chronic disease.
That's why @DrOzCMS and I are launching the Make Hospital Food Healthier Pledge. Today, we're calling on hospitals across America to join us and commit to serving REAL, nutritious food to every patient.
Together, we can transform hospital nutrition, improve patient care, and Make America Healthy Again.

Lack of sleep, bad nutrition, lack of exercise are the root causes. Your body was fearfully and wonderfully made and if you don’t take care of it, the natural consequence is going to be disease and death.
Physician (gr. Physiokos, pertaining to Nature)
Surgeon (Latin, chirurgia "Hand Work")
Clinician (Gr. Klinikos, "pertaining to the sickbed")

"The term [provider] should not be used to describe physicians, nor should physicians use it to describe themselves, their team members, or their trainees."

The most important fight of my life isn’t in the ring.
I’m not fighting for a belt. I’m fighting for our health.
Processed foods are killing us. We have been lied to and we need to eat real food again.

Glad they are finally catching on. This is old news to the endo crowd. the only time that calories are related to mass is when you are doing nuclear chemistry.
