Shoutout again to our incredible social media and sound teams!
With weather in Wow Forever we wanted to do more than just simple rain. The sound team hooked us up with some pre-rain ambient sound (and much more). Before the rain starts to fall you can see the fog and clouds roll in and hear the rumble of distant thunder as the storm approaches.
From there, the rain has several stages of intensity and has a chance of culminating in a full on thunderstorm, lightning and all.

Ahh, looks like a few people have stumbled upon it. My favorite part about this change is that you can now jump through the window where that big, weird slug thing is puking slime. Just a little short cut 🙂.
Fun fact: The Undercity file actually had slime in this area but it was disabled before it got exported to the game. Maybe the invisible walls were placed because they ran out of time? Who knows! But I was more than happy to restore the artist’s original intent 😀
This is peak World of Warcraft.
Adventure calls.
In a moment of respite, I reach a golden hilltop along Westfall's vast, glimmering coastline to gaze upon a sunsetting Great Sea. The shining sun reflecting off its rippling waves. The glorious, ivory towers of Stormwind gleam in the distance, inspiring me with courage and a duty to venture further still. The silhouette of an old, sunken ship sits still, waiting to be explored, despite the dangers that may lie within its depths.
And as I stand and marvel at the beauty of a sight renewed, taking familiar steps across nostalgic landscapes as if for the first time, imagining the stories yet to be told... my focus is captured by three heroic adventurers braving the perils of Longshore.
I stand in awe, watching them journey together across the sands of northern shores, seeking tales of adventure on a quest of their own, forging their path in a dangerous world, bathed in the warmth of Azeroth's light, until at last, they travel beyond my sight.
Courage and Honor — always.⚔️🛡️
