The choke point of value to the masses is complexity. Complexity requires expertise which narrows the market for solutions. This is why I believe UX has so much value in Product Design and Development. Reducing complexity unlocks value for larger portions of the market.
JUNE 2028.
The S&P is down 38% from its highs. Unemployment just printed 10.2%. Private credit is unraveling. Prime mortgages are cracking. AI didn’t disappoint. It exceeded every expectation.
What happened?

"All you have to do is build your plant in the US and you don't have Tariffs."
1. Under his plan an entire supply chain would have to be in the US.
2. "Just build your plant in the US" can't happen fast enough to deflect the extreme consequences for consumers
Micklethwait: If you add up all the promises you have made it would add $7.5 trillion to the debt.
Trump: Tariffs..
Micklethwait: That’s barely the cost of two of your promises
Trump: That’s like for what company you’re talking about
Taking this opportunity to point out that Dan Crenshaw voted for the same Biden spending bill blames for inflation.
Typical cherry-picking from the Biden-Harris playbook, trying to spin a struggling economy into a success story. Let’s talk about reality: Electricity prices are up 28%, food prices are up 25%, rent is up 20%, and mortgage rates have doubled. Why? Because of Biden’s $1.9T spending spree—the American Rescue Plan—which Kamala Harris broke the tie to pass in the Senate.
Sure, you can talk about GDP growth, but here’s the truth: Biden-Harris inherited an economy that was already bouncing back under Trump. More than 70% of the jobs Biden brags about are just pandemic recoveries, not new gains. In fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics even had to revise the numbers, erasing a third of Biden’s so-called “job creation.” Their economic record? It pales in comparison to Trump’s and looks borderline fraudulent.
Under Biden-Harris, wage growth and inflation are nearly equal—both around 19%. Compare that to Trump, when wage growth was 15% and inflation just 7%. Americans were actually getting ahead. Funny how you didn’t mention any of this during the debate—probably because you knew you’d be fact-checked live.

Stern: A new report just came out today that Trump was sending COVID tests to Putin and Putin said, ‘don't let anyone know.’ What do you make of that?
Vice President Harris: Trump gets played by dictators. They are manipulating him with flattery and favor. Remember, people were dying by the hundreds and couldn’t get testing kits. And Trump is sending tests to Russia to a murderous dictator for his personal use while he was telling Americans to put bleach in their blood
A lot of time is spent on planning and reporting. None of it helps a company be nimble nor innovative.
Would love to ask @eoghan what his motivation is for supporting Trump, but he only allows people he follows to respond. Genuinely curious.
Spot on.
My uncle is panicking. He’s running against a strong Black woman—and a former prosecutor—who isn’t afraid to call him out or mock him. His whole campaign strategy was based around attacking Joe Biden—his age, his infirmity, his cognitive decline. It was all projection, of course, but because Pres. Biden is old and has slowed down in the last four years, and because he doesn’t shout or bully, Donald was able to make the attacks stick thanks, in large part, to his foot soldiers in the corporate media.
While there is clear justification to be concerned about Biden’s health all of this infighting about what should happen next is meaningless. We are all going to vote against Trump and for the most viable opposing candidate which will be the Democrat—whoever that is.

3/5. Our enemies know this. Which is why they all, without exception, support Trump.
There is a serious political party and wholly unserious political party.
Schiff to Jordan: I thank you for making a very clean record for any court that looks at this that you never sought an accommodation… to obtain these documents because you’re first move is to go right to contempt. Ironically, we’re still waiting for you to testify and meet the obligations of your own subpoena

Beautiful version of this fantastic song—one of my favorites. And that poster!
16 years ago today, Pearl Jam began a short run of dates surrounding @Bonnaroo. For the tour opener in West Palm, they resurrected this song for the 1st time in over a decade. They even tacked on a pretty little outro. #tfh
