Some photos from last night…A big thank you firstly to Matthew and Paul who invited me to be part of this rich and rewarding show. Humbled to be shown alongside such great artists 🙏 The show runs for 3 weeks. Check Gallery North and 36 Lime st websites for opening times.X
Rodney Graham’s work convinced me to take art seriously. I am so sad at his death. Life can’t find the words. 🖤

With the weather getting warmer, many of us will be spending more time outdoors. Ticks & the potential risk of #LymeDisease shouldn’t prevent you from enjoying the outdoors, but there are some things you can look out for & do to avoid being bitten

Today seems like a good day for a ghost story...
The first Ghost Orchid to be recorded in Britain was found in July 1854 by Mrs Anderton Smith in Herefordshire. Not recognising it, she picked it, and it was sent away to be identified. (1/12)

A great way to end the #silentorchidsummerschool with a fascinating talk by botanical artist Deborah Lambkin who discussed her role as RHS Orchid Committee artist. The school has created a wonderful group of people with many areas of research, all linked by an interest in orchids
