A shame women like Madi ever had to be in this fight. Listen to her story, it's emotional.

100 years ago, SCOTUS affirmed in Pierce v. Society of Sisters that “the child is not the mere creature of the State.”
But today? Federal programs are still undermining parental rights.

“We are disappointed by Gov. Kelly’s veto of SB 63, a law that protects vulnerable kids from radical gender ideology. By vetoing this critical legislation, Gov. Kelly ignored biological reality and the growing body of evidence about the damage that these drugs and surgeries inflict on children’s minds and bodies." - @MattSharpADF

No teacher should be forced to use names/pronouns inconsistent with biological sex…or be expected to do so without parental knowledge.
It was good to, once again, work with @brittmjones93 of @KSFamilyVoice on an important piece of legislation.

Early Christmas present!👇
A few months ago, @adflegal worked with investors to send letters to @Costco, @Walmart, @kroger, @Albertsons, and @McKesson, calling them to not offer mifepristone, a drug used in over half of all abortions in the U.S. This was in response to @NYCComptroller calling on retailers to sell mifepristone and falsely saying it was as safe as ibuprofen.
As we argued at SCOTUS, the FDA’s own label admits that roughly one in 25 women who take this drug will end up in the ER.
On Wednesday, @SamsClub, a division of Walmart, and Kroger confirmed that they are NOT selling Mifepristone on their websites or at their stores.
The letters we sent to Walmart and Kroger included investors, investment advisors, fiduciaries, proxy voting and corporate engagement consultants to investors who hold over $100 billion in total assets under management and $92 million in stock at Walmart and Kroger. The letters’ message was clear, they said: “Dispensing [Mifepristone] is filled with legal and political risk and will inject [Walmart/Kroger] into the middle of an intense political battle at great expense to its reputation. It is also wholly unnecessary to your business. We urge you not to dispense mifepristone.”
We are delighted that these companies are making the right decision. Retail pharmacies should prioritize the health of their customers, and not bow to political pressure that puts women in harm's way. We hope to see other retailers follow suit and take this harmful drug off the shelves for good.
We will continue to work with shareholders to monitor these companies’ behavior and hold them accountable.
Thank you @inspireadvisor, @DavidBahnsen, @JerryLeeBowyer, and @GuideStone for helping to make this happen.

LIFE WINS! 434 Passes, 439 Defeated!
In the face of the greatest threat to life our state has ever seen, Nebraskans stood up to deliver a historic pro-life victory that is sending shockwaves of hope throughout the nation.
The abortion industry’s attempt to create a right to late-term abortion and eliminate our laws protecting women and babies has failed.
Nearly 500k Nebraskans voted to protect women and children by voting “for” Initiative 434 in a resounding victory. Nebraskans rejected Initiative 439, which failed to reach the 50% threshold.
For the first time in history, pre-born babies in Nebraska have a floor of constitutional protection.
Your prayers, advocacy, and courage to stand in the gap for women, babies, and truth have saved lives. That courage is contagious and provides hope for the rest of our nation.
While there is much work still to be done, we celebrate the lives that have been saved and are resolved to continue working to see every life cherished and protected.

I spend a lot of time thinking about the issue of life, and these are important truths.
Abortion is not a choice that women want to make.
It’s not a joyous act of feminism, it is a choice made with deep internal turmoil for almost any woman.
Here are the questions I have for those who proclaim “Choice!”
For those who say, “My body, my choice” —
Do you have a choice if you do not have the economic freedom to truly make a choice?
Do you have a choice if you do not have the support of family and friends to raise your blessing from God?
Do you have a choice if the only choice feels like terminating your pregnancy for the betterment of your child who you love?
Moms love their babies, and let’s give moms a true CHOICE by embracing @marcorubio’s “Providing for Life Act” that empowers women to choose LIFE! ❤️

Telling kids they are born in the wrong body, sexualizing them pre-adolescence, & artificially infusing anxiety doesn’t “prepare our kids for the future…” it DESTROYS it.
Adults who encourage kids to reject “who they are” (as in male or female) are causing irreversible damage.
Matt Sharp retweeted
Do not be misled. Laws like MN’s so-called“trans refuge” law hurt vulnerable children, deny caring parents access to critical medical information about their child, and empower MN courts to remove custody from parents who don’t want their children harmed by dangerous transition drugs and surgeries—no matter where they live.
These laws violate the Constitution and ignore the growing international evidence that these drugs and surgeries inflict life-changing, often irreversible harm. The increasing number of detransitioners’ stories coming to light like @detransaqua, Isabelle Ayala, @chloecole, Cristina Hineman, and @Katie1080 shows that kids need adults to protect them from gender ideology. No government official should strip parents of their ability to do so.
America’s parents and children deserve better.
