🎥 “We want to go the Farage route, not the Lib Dem route.” Ashok Kumar of Greens for Palestine spoke to Novara Media about strategy behind the Green Party’s “Zionism is racism” motion, which took a year to organize and was designed to expose Labour’s politics. He said PM Andy Burnham’s response revealed him as little different from Keir Starmer. Inspired by Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s France Unbowed and its “strategy of conflict,” the idea is to set the terms of debate, provoke a backlash, and heighten contradictions to force opponents to reveal positions. Rather than chase more MPs by moderating its politics, Kumar says the Greens should use confrontation to shift the debate leftward and become an anti-establishment force. “We want to drag [the paradigm] to the left kicking and screaming.” @comrade_kumar_ | @novaramedia

It’s pretty cool to see something real finally happening in British politics. I’ve been pretty much ignoring that entire stupid island since they took down Corbyn.

Doesn’t the IHRA author Kenneth Stern say it shouldn’t be used this way? There is a clear danger in associating Jews with Zionism, especially as the ICJ investigates Israel under the Genocide Convention.

His chancellor ordered this spy plane to fly over Gaza to collect intel for the genocidal Israeli military, with the information imparted in real-time Of course Burnham doesn’t want an inquiry. His number 2 belongs in the Hague. We will not stop exposing the Labour génocidaires
NEW: Andy Burnham has officially rejected Jeremy Corbyn's call for a public inquiry into "British complicity" in Gaza. The former Labour leader wrote to the PM in July asking him to back his Private Member's Bill for a Chilcot-style inquiry, which would look at any UK military, economic or political cooperation with Israel since October 2023. This would include the power to question ministers on the supply or use of weapons, surveillance aircraft and Royal Air Force bases. The idea was rejected by Starmer. The govt have confirmed in response to a written question today that their position remains unchanged under Burnham, saying an inquiry isn't necessary due to the "extensive mechanisms already available for parliamentary accountability and oversight". Corbyn said:“Andy Burnham rightly said that the last Labour government “got it wrong” over Gaza. But his words will mean very little if he doesn’t break with the last government’s shameful record of complicity, secrecy and evasion. "Many of us will remember in the aftermath of Iraq, the government of the day spent many years resisting attempts to uncover the truth. In the end, they could not prevent the inevitable. Just like Iraq, we will remember those who obstructed the path to justice."

We deserve to know exactly what military, economic and political support this country has provided to Israel. The last government did everything it could to hide Britain’s complicity in genocide. Why is this government following in its footsteps?

British journalists never reported on their government's direct participation in the Gaza genocide They were obeying a 'D-Notice' censorship order sent out by the UK military Every media editor received this on 28 October 2023. You were never meant to see it. Here it is👇

An absolutely terrible decision on Jackdaw. It will do nothing to lower people's energy bills or improve our energy security. Investing in renewable energy is the way to do that. The Government has got this badly wrong. It must not repeat the same mistake with Rosebank.

Not a single word has appeared in a UK newspaper about this British spy team since the New York Times exposed it in June 2024 We don’t even know if they’re still in Israel UK military and intelligence agencies were participants in the Gaza genocide from the beginning

This is one of the most basic measures the Labour Government could have taken to make taxation fairer. Once again this Labour Government is showing they'll side with wealth and power rather than everyone struggling right now.
🚨 BREAKING 🚨 Chancellor Healey rules out CGT rise. That's bad news for a former Mayor of Manchester who famously once said “we have overtaxed labour and undertaxed wealth." Our thoughts? 👇🧵1/4 theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…

Thames Water is borrowing ÂŁ2.4bn at 10% interest so it can keep funding dividends, even though bosses know it won't be able to repay the money when the company goes tits up. This is corrupt and the government should make it clear that taxpayers won't pick up the tab.
