There are organizations that sell “sermons” to pastors and there are organizations churches belong to that require pastors to use these “sermons”.
These “sermons” are created with one goal in mind:
To make the audience feel good, so they keep coming back to donate money.
Piss poor performance and effort by Bama.
Tennessee whooped them up and down the field all day.
Embarrassing.
Roll Tide anyway…
Can’t fully blame the loss on the refs, but the obvious missed targeting and PI penalties were pivotal moments in the game.
Georgia may not have had that last long drive if the targeting penalty was called.
The biggest problem with AI is that 99% of Americans are completely ignorant when it comes to privacy.
They blindly sacrifice their own privacy at the altar of convenience.
Half of my feed is a bunch of Chicken Little accounts telling everyone the sky is falling.
Many will make decisions based on those fears and that damage has a far greater chance of being tangible.
“Claude helped me save $100/month by analyzing my bank statement!”
This is beyond stupid.
Unless it’s a local model or an enterprise model with ZDR, never share personal/sensitive info with AI.
Most Americans value convenience far above privacy and security.
They’re only resisting Flock cameras because they offer no personal convenience in return.
Been building a web app with Grok Build that I plan to self-host.
It’s been an uphill battle, but it finally feels like we’re on the right track.
If Grok can nail this, I’ll be impressed.
However, I highly doubt AI is anywhere close to replacing high skill labor jobs.
Finally got OPNsense configured to my own acceptable standard.
Installing Zenarmor made such a huge difference in visibility and actually gave a greater sense of control.
Thinking about installing Suricata on the WAN interface.
I want to get a decent NAS server for my home lab—one that’s capable of running a suite of programs, including Jellyfin—but man, these server prices are ridiculous.
May be a long hunt for one.
Left my job for the last time today.
What a strange feeling.
The routine I’d grown so accustomed to—seeing the same people at the same place every day—is done.
Another company gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse.
While the future is exciting, there’s also a hint of sadness.
Upgrading a server for a client account this morning.
Always seems pretty straight forward at first, but every network is different.
90% of the time, there are unforeseen, unaccounted variables that add an extra 2-3 hours of troubleshooting.
Praying that doesn’t happen today!
