This year, HB5001 (our priority bill) is focused on elder care. I want to thank the bipartisan leadership team of the Aging Committee, members and advocates who are working incredibly hard to make lasting, impactful change.
It was a pleasure and an honor to talk up my hometown, Hartford, to the 695th @citylordmayor, Michael Mainelli. We are all big believers in the InsurTech Corridor (the collaboration between the UK and Connecticut to spark startups and industry growth).
Have a HARC Day! I love hosting @HARCInc each year at the Capitol complex…HARC's message is so important, and their services touch so many families.

My most important advisors are a group of middle schoolers from my neighborhood I meet with every month or so to tell me about what it’s like to be a kid in Hartford. I brought them to the State Capitol this morning to talk w Mayor Arulampalam and Speaker Ritter.
Honored to have kicked off the Transforming Children’s Behavioral Health Policy & Planning Committee. Looking forward to seeing all the great work this committee does for children in our state.

Proud to join state and local leaders in the north end of Hartford today to announce that our office will be administering a fund to help homeowners impacted by MDC-related flood damage.
This is a major victory for residents of Hartford’s North End who have lived with flooded basements and sewage backups for years…and there is more work to do. This was the result of everyone working together, transparently, to achieve our goal
