Sharing some OG wisdom before I forget it ... An effective way to avoid the some of the hardships of old age these days: For those of you who spend a lot of time typing or doom scrolling on your phone, or both ... You are going to steadily distort your back and neck posture. That is going to mess with you a lot as time goes on. Much better to do that at horizon level so you can keep your neck and back upright and balanced. In a car you can rest your phone on your steering wheel so you look straight ahead, but you can't type that way. So it is best to do as much typing work as possible at a desk with adjustable height. Be able to push a button to smoothly adjust the height for sitting or standing (most of the time you will be sitting). Stack milk crates if you can't afford a mechanical desk ($113 -- mine came from Wayfair). If you raise the desk surface up to chest height while sitting, you can lean on the desk so it carries the weight of your arms while you type for hours. Do whatever it takes such that the screen you stare at for hours is not something for which you have to look downward for extended periods. You do not have to cut yourself off from the world, you just have adapt to it better.

At the @NABigfootCenter , we keep an updated sign showing the six most recent Sasquatch sightings we’ve received and investigated.
ATTN Washington State >> 20 Miles west of Port Angeles >> August 2006 >> This credible Class A sighting is not recent but the location is important for future bigfoot research: The rainforest area behind Lake Crescent Lodge.
This lodge is a set of structures on the edge of Lake Crescent -- in the middle of nowhere on the wild and wet Olympic Peninsula. These structures are completely surrounded by thick rainforest for miles.
The witness was 21 years old in 2006 when this occurred. She was a seasonal worker at the lodge. She worked as a server in the restaurant. The lodge provides housing to its seasonal workers. It was her day off. She was behind one of the employee housing buildings talking on the phone to her mother. She saw the bigfoot walking through the woods at 40 yards away.
It was dusk. The light was fading but she got a good at look at it. It terrified her so much that she ran away crying.
Dusk sightings often indicate areas where the bigfoot was hunkered down and staying hidden during the day. It emerges at dusk to go looking for deer. They may return to the same day "nest" for a few weeks at a time.
The full report mentions that we have had our own experiences over the years on a different part Lake Crescent. Here is the full report: bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp…
This 2006 report is important because it MAY point to a relatively convenient spot on the Olympic Peninsula within walking distance of where one or two bigfoots may hunker down during the day, perhaps seasonally.
The ultimate score in bigfoot research filmography would be something like a "nest cam" for a bigfoot nest -- a fixed camera angle showing a bigfoot(s) laying down during the day. There might be a spot like this in the gnarly rainforest not far from the lodge.
See the aerial image of the lodge. It makes sense that a bigfoot would prefer that old growth forest between the lake edge and steep slopes. Among other things, there are a few trailhead parking lots within a mile, which often attract deer because tourists and hikers often toss food to them.
This section of Olympic National Park is particularly well protected from hunting and poaching. Animals behave differently wherever that is the case
The photos of the Syracuse Figure (photos shot on Aug 10, 2026) have now been in the news and seen by a large number of people in Onondaga County New York, but no one has come forward to say they have seen this “old man” before. A homeless hermit in a rural area would be seen by even more people than someone who is not homeless. This figure stands about 4 foot 9 inches tall, which would make him even more distinctive than an average size man. Read the full report to see how its height was approximated, and how difficult it would be for even a young fit person to go wading in this swampy pond. We don’t think it’s a Bigfoot, but we think it might not be a human. So what else? Here is the link to the Facebook post about it. Below that is the link to the full investigation report with comparative image of a six foot tall person standing at the same spot, photographed from same position with same camera.

ATTN South Carolina >> Expedition announced for November 2026. This expediton is open to non-members.
The intrepid trio of Rick Reles, Marsha Clarke and Steve Lamb say they have a very good spot in the hilly western part of the state.
One of the best BFRO expeditions ever was in this part of South Carolina, where a large number of attendees had visual observations after dark in more than one hollow on the same night -- unusually bold approaches by 1-3 sasquatches at a time, approaches and extended paralleling that were clearly prompted by our well coordinated loud sound enticements that echoed well through the hollows.
Unfortunately this was back when handheld thermal monoculars were uncommon because they were so expensive ($9,000 vs. $1,000 today) and could not record internally anyway.
There is more than one sasquatch in the hills of western South Carolina, many more. They are spread out in the many marshy hollows, but often in a nearby hollows. They find eachother with sounds at late at night in these unpopulated forest zones.
Not surprisingly, in many parts of western South Carolina there are so many deer that it is hazardous to drive the back roads at night. The sasquatches in those hills have an inexhaustible food supply.

Yeah baby ! Same thing for Tyrus' podcast and also Bigfoot and Beyond podcast -- my episode had highest views on both.
Podcast interview with me and Tyrus of Fox News (Greg Gutfeld show). He and his producers want to get some real Bigfoot action if it can happen within easy driving range of NYC.

One of the misleading aspects of this Boston.com article is it explains that "belief" in the Bigfoot phenomena is likely due to peoples' "need" for something extraordinary or mysterious in our lives. That is quite misleading because it might only help explain the widespread INTEREST in the sightings afterward, but the people who have the sightings usually had no interest in the subject, not pre-existing "belief" that would cause them to have a sighting or encounter. The psycological explaination only explains why the stories receive widespread attention, including from media sources like Boston.com that capitalizes on the sighting reports they try to write off as psychological phenomena.
BFRO site has all the details about the Sasquatch sighting incident in COLORADO on July 28, 2026 described in this video with the eyewitness.

Here is what I wrote recently in a comment to a post on the BFRO’s popular Facebook Group (search FB Groups for “BFRO 1995”) regarding the stories on NewsMax etc. about newcomer “Snake” and his fake dead Bigfoot.
“The absurdity of this story on Newsmax is that their news producers know very well that this story was debunked last year, long before it suddenly began making news again in recent weeks.
Fox News addressed the matter appropriately recently, including my own clarification that "Snake" is nothing but a petty fraudster / scammer who is lying about the whole thing. Thank you, Fox New web site for making that clear!
If Newsmax actually wanted to know the truth rather than merely capitalize on the clickbait value of this hypey bogus story, they only had to ask one simple question of "Snake" ... The question I asked him last year, which he refused to answer: "Who at Cornell University did the DNA testing?" Snake can't answer that question because no one at Cornell did any DNA testing for him, period. Somehow Snake's claim about DNA testing by Cornell Univ goes unchallenged by the "journalists" at NewsMax.
The whole story is a crock. Newsmax knows it. Presenting this story the way they did really hurts their credibility in my eyes.
I will be on the podcast for Tyrus of Fox News (Google "Planet Tyrus") next week to discuss this silly story, which I would not need to do if NewsMax had not teased so many people into thinking "Snake’s" fraud might have some credibility. Kudos to FoxNews ; shame on NewsMax.
Here is what I already wrote LAST YEAE about "Snake" and his fake dead bigfoot:

ATTN EAST TEXAS > RECENT (06/12/2026) credible Class A sighting near Sabine River, 17 miles west of Longview. The sighting occurred on Hwy 80 at roughly 1:20AM. The witness, Dustin Dean of Marshall Texas, is a former marine who has been well established in the gas and oil industry for over 20 years now.
The sasquatch was standing beside the road, but only one step away from tree cover. The witness was driving with his wife, who was looking down at her phone as the vehicle passed the 7-8 foot tall sasquatch that seemed to be trying to cross the highway. The vehicle's highbeams lit up the figure well enough for the driver to get a very good look at the face as he passed it.
The driver did not have a dashcam running so there was no way to get a photo or video of the sasquatch when the driver spotted it and passed it going roughly 60 miles per hour. He slowed down right after the sighting and talked to his wife about turning around to go back for a second look, etc. His wife was adamant that he should not do that, and instead continue in the direction of home.
No one has gone back to the area to look for tracks. The GPS coordinates provided by the witness are approximate, so it will be useless to look for tracks at the exact spot where the sasquatch was seen. The witness didn't mark the exact spot along the highway, but the GPS coordinates would be accurate to within 200 feet.
At this location a few elements intersect: 1) A railroad bed parallels this highway on the south side, so necessarily only a few feet from where the sasquatch was standing, 2) a power line route crosses the highway close by, 3) a feeder creek for the nearby Sabine River flows underneath this highway nearby.
The full report contains links to several other sasquatch reports near the Sabine River, which has long been one of top hotspots for sasquatch sightings in Texas. For the full report see: bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp…

ATTN IDAHO (McCall area) - RECENT (May 24, 2026) - Class A encounters with a group of teenagers camping in Payette National Forest near Lost Valley Reservoir, 16 miles northwest of McCall.
Several incidents occurred among this group of mostly 18 year olds from the Parma area. I have spoken with two of them so far. They are NOT lying about it. These incidents really occurred. There were enough visual observations over the course of three days to rule out misidentifications, pranks, etc. More first hand statements will be recorded from the other witness over the next week or so. For the full report see:
