(1/4) It's lovely gig after lovely gig this month, some of which I'm playing, some of which I'm watching.
@Ellie_Gowers was outstanding at @acapelastudio last night, and I'm back for @baskery this eve before returning once more for fellow flat guitarist @martinharley next week!
(3/4) Later in the month we're playing a hometown show at @ClwbYBont with #JamieBSings, who we once accidentally lived with for eight months, before @sheelanagig and @TaffRapids roll into town for a @BTTfest bash at @YMaArlein the following night!

(4/4) So whether I'm onstage or incrowd, perhaps I'll see you at one of these here happenings...

I'll be back at @ClwbYBont for @HazelAndGrey's hometown show with #JamieBSings on the 28th.
It'll be our last one of the year, we'll have #NateOrr on drums, and there'll possibly/probably/definitely be a collab or two, so pop along for a lovely evening with some lovely people!
Tickets are already being snapped up for our hometown show with #JamieBSings at @ClwbYBont at the end of the month.
Grab yours in advance via @TicketSource and save a couple of quid while you're at it!

Big news coming out of H&G HQ this evening...
(1/3) Somehow it's #November already, and we've got three lovely shows coming up this month!
Hot off the press, we'll be co-headlining a hometown gig at @ClwbYBont in #Pontypridd on the 28th with our good friend #JamieBSings.

Hazel & Grey & Nate = Heroic Harmonies
I Need A Hero... Where Are You Now?
Hazel & Grey
Live at St John's Church
Canton, Cardiff
October 2024
@MattJFrederick @cayshaleigh #NateOrr #Hero
@newsoundwales @Stjohnconcerts @CantonAnglican
After dipping my toes into the classical world last weekend, I'm back on safer ground with @HazelAndGrey this Saturday for a fundraiser at one of my favourite venues, @Stjohnconcerts, scene of the #Borders album launch that was, and the #Fragments album launch that never was...
We're over the moon to be performing at the beautiful @Stjohnconcerts in #Canton, #Cardiff this Saturday alongside @AfroWelshC & @BellaCollinsMus.
And we'll have Nate joining on drums once again, so if you're yet to see us as a trio, this is your chance!

Just about to make my classical debut, opening for @MavronQuartet at @MuniPontypridd as part of Gŵyl Morfydd Owen Festival.
Wish me luck...
A little bit of light reading of a Friday eve, if you fancy it, ahead of tomorrow's classical debut / debacle (delete as appropriate).

Includes @HazelAndGrey gig news plus a music recommendation that'll hopefully warm the cockles of your soul...
Gŵyl Morfydd Owen Festival is nearly upon us...
As well as my classical set opening for the @MavronQuartet at @MuniPontypridd (gulp), I'll also be performing solo down on the @millstquarter alongside my chums #JamieBSings @tomjenkins__ & @EleriOnline on Saturday afternoon!
If you're in and around #Pontypridd this weekend, then check out Gŵyl Morfydd Owen Festival, a series of free events across multiple venues throughout the town, including @MattJFrederick performing a solo set of piano instrumentals at @MuniPontypridd!

Then on Sunday evening I'll be accompanying harpist @BethanNiaHarp & @msjessica of @SOWAcapella at @ParcArts.
Loads more going on in and around town from Friday afternoon onwards, and it's all brand spanking free, so we'll see you there, is it?
