Favourite shot from my and @IamAndyBooth's "Creating Hope" choir performance last Friday. A herculean collaborative effort from my @SheffUniEng and @ChorusChoirs friends, all made possible by the incredible @FestivalMind team. You can watch and listen on the #FOTM2020 web-site!

A fascinating day of sports surfaces talks at #ISEA2024, a total of 22 great presentations and posters, across natural & artificial turf, WC2026 preparations, advanced player safety testing, modelling, new designs and more. Great questions and networking all day!
@SportsEngUK
Another great talk at #ISEA2024, this time from @HIGShefUniMEC group's very own @PhoebeBramley summarising our recent #sportsengineering work on climbing and the tribological effects of chalk on diff rock types and handholds. Standing room only!
Great to be at #ISEA2024 which kicked off with a fascinating keynote by @peko23 demonstrating through maths, physics and #sportsengineering how the tiniest of margins can lead to sporting success. In this example microns of baseball seam height.

And that’s all for another year! 🙌
Well done to all the walkers, organisers, volunteers and supporters that made this year's #TUOSBigWalk so special. You're all truly inspiring. 💫
There's still time to donate to help fund vital #MND research. 👇

Off to help out at the start line for this year's Uni Big Walk. Good luck to all our walkers! So many friends and colleagues doing this, so looking forward to waving you all off.

So this came up, which means it must be 8 years since the dreaded Brexit referendum. I was bored and anxious in equal measure that night so joined Twitter to see what people were saying.
Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary
Had a great time entertaining guests at the start of this fabulous event for an amazing charity @BabyBasicsUK last night with the rest of my singing group, the Retrotones.
We are ready to welcome our guests.
Looking forward to a fantastic night!
Thank you to all who have made it happen and worked hard behind the scenes.

Had a great @chorus_uk choir rehearsal this morning 🎶🎵🎶. After my solo practice I discovered my audio recording app has an auto transcript function. Let's just say the #AI didn't get it quite right...
