It was an absolute privilege to speak to @JasonRosam on @BBCRadioLondon yesterday morning. He asked for my thoughts about theatres opening before January. My answer - its an unequivocal necessity. @TracyBrabin @RishiSunak @OliverDowden

I once contacted @jessphillips out of the blue for advice about a woman I was trying to support who had fled domestic violence. I emailed her at 7pm on a Friday night not really expecting a response. 1/2
I won tube bingo today & was fortunate enough to badger @ChrisMasonBBC on the tube for 3 stops.
A pleasure to meet you Chris & thanx for all the years of coverage w/@adamfleming @bbclaurak
I think bumping into the BBC Polticial

Ironies abound with Trump, as ever. Mitch McConnell has been one of the most stalwart GOP supporters of Ukraine in the Senate. That aid will likely stop now. McConnell could have moved to convict Trump post Jan 6th and bar him from office forever more. He chose not to do so. Kyiv will pay the price.
Sad to see @domithiem play his final major today.
A raw talent, a class act, and wow what a backhand (@MattRobertsTTP).
It’s tennis’ loss that it didn’t get more Thiem time.
Possibly the best speech I have seen in my lifetime (though @BarackObama’s 2004 #DNC speech comes v close)
What an important woman in USA’s history, paving the way for so many women and leading with such dignity & class.
We can learn a lot from this.

I think Walz is going to be a very Joe Biden esque VP. Light relief, humorous, great vibes.
Kamala is so good at this - god speed to to the Harris Walz campaign. #HarrisWalz2024
Why oh why oh why oh whyyyy have the BBC decided to not show the second set of one of the greatest tennis matches ever played?

Everyone slags Starmer over the family background in tools but in fairness he can assemble a cabinet quickly
Crikey. The @Conservatives really meant it when they said they’d shrink the state for the next generation.
Absolute hero @jessicacaca7. Would give a lot to do it all over again with you!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Jessica Daley (@jessicacaca7) who's currently playing Britney in @SoLuckyMusical will be singing the role of EVA PERON tonight at #Evita @CurveLeicester!
Jessica played Eva Peron in the International Tour of Evita 5 years ago! She has performed at CURVE on multiple occasions
2/2 Seeing the video from #LesMis night, there is unfaltering dedication from an entire cast whilst enduring a potentially threatening situation, performing until the very moment they're told not to. An entirely unprecedented situation handled expertly.
1/2 Working in theatre is an absolute privilege. You consistently work with the most committed people who for whatever is going on FOH, backstage, or any internal goings on, you see 100% commitment night after night.
Certainly pretty epic – at Rome, Lazio
