After announcing its latest 200W charging tech, Xiaomi has confirmed it's working on a new 1.21 gigawatt phone charger that can reach 100% before you even plug it in! It's called Time Shift. The catch is you need to be traveling 88 mph.
I'm definitely getting less battery life with Apple Watch Series 6 vs. Series 4. Not unexpected with the always-on-display, but now I need 2 short charges per day instead of 1.
The Windows 10 Photos app takes too long to load, fails to open the image ~50% of the time (opens to blank screen), and suffers from a memory leak. UWP 👎🏻
I don’t understand why people are still using this garbage. Even Google doesn't want you to install AnTuTu: flip.it/TM62gM
For some reason certain programs are unresponsive while uploading a file to a network drive in Windows Explorer. Made me think back to a time when I couldn’t type in a text editor and play an mp3 file at the same time on my Linux desktop (v2.4).
Qualcomm announces new Snapdragon Wear 4100+ SoC: 12nm, A53, LPDDR3. Seems a bit .... underwhelming. Especially since this will likely be the only Android smartwatch option for next ~2 years.

This seems unnecessary and wasteful. Do we really need this many federal police forces?

Assuming Apple’s A14 big CPU cores hit 3GHz, peak power (heavy FP workload) would be in the 5W-5.5W range based on N5 data shared by TSMC and A13 power measurements. So either Apple clocks below 3GHz or it needs to improve efficiency by about 10% to be viable.
My analysis workstation was upgraded to 128GB of RAM yesterday, and I’ve already reached 100% utilization. Mission accomplished :)
TSMC announces plan to build 5nm fab in Arizona. This will be an n-1 fab (not cutting edge) heavily subsidized by US/AZ govt most likely used for national security sensitive chips (think ITAR or DoD Trusted Foundry program).

Just finished watching the @TheCloneWars finale. An amazing end to an amazing show that pulled me back into @starwars so many years ago. I really enjoyed the music in these final episodes.
1/4 There seems to be some confusion about battery fast charging systems, specifically that you can fast charge without battery degradation. This is NOT true.
