I am devastated to wake up to learn of the tragic death of Tony Hsieh @zappos at just 46. Although only blessed to be in his company on a few occasions, when we did meet up, he impacted my life in a positive and profound way.

If I owned @WestHam, any adult season ticket holder of 25+ years gets a season ticket for life.
You’ve supported the club through everything—now it’s our turn.
Pay your tax, earn your pension, and give back to the people. ⚒️
If you’re truly building a super-power football brand in today’s attention economy - season ticket revenue is chicken feed.

A new service has been launched where people who are sick can upload a short video of themselves displaying the symptoms and then get a same day sick note after paying £39.
But does this kind of service make it too easy to be off sick?

Skip the NHS queue. Get same day medical letters, certificates and GP referrals.
Cancelling football across our towns and city’s is like preventing 2m people from going to 100 church’s to celebrate our Queen.
@premierleague you’ve deprived everyone from paying their respects. Football is more than 90 minutes of sport from your armchair.
It’s community.

"I've saved all my money. [My daughter] doesn't have any student loans. Am I going to get my money back?"
Warren: "Of course not."
"So you're going to pay for people who didn't save any money and those of us who did the right thing get screwed."
Today is the day. Arguably the biggest day my generation has experienced following the mighty West Ham United. What I wouldn’t give for this man to be in the team tonight.
@WestHam
@hwoodhammers
Good luck to everybody, associated with this special club.

Brampton Manor Academy has recieved more Oxford & Cambridge university places for their students than Eton.
A remarkable achievement considering in 2014 they recieved only 1 offer.
Antoine Allen @antoinespeaker spoke to @BramptonManor1 students about their aspirations
I had some positive e-mail exchanges about the book and so agreed to return to web summit to talk about how I had been impacted by it. I arrived to see @kevinrose of Digg and @ev of Twitter who had also read the book and wanted to participate in the conversation.
This is just a few clips of that wonderful day.

I struggle to share days but I had to be vulnerable and share this as I do feel sad today.
Goodbye Tony.
