Great hire for @DePaulHoops. Welcome to Lincoln Park, Coach! depaulbluedemons.com/news/20…
Happy to see the late Pharoah Sanders earn his overdue induction into the @DownBeatMag Hall of Fame. I had the pleasure of reviewing his performance at DC’s Bohemian Caverns in 2013. I met him after and he graciously signed my record. A wonderful experience with a titan of jazz.
Also, is it me or is Pharoah rocking a real Luke Danes vibe in this @DownBeatMag? #GilmoreGirls
Pleased to see Alice Coltrane get her well-deserved spot in the @DownBeatMag Hall of Fame!
Now we just have to get the next highest vote getters (Pharoah Sanders, Charles Lloyd, Kenny Burrell) in as well. All highly deserving and overdue for inclusion!
I first met Andrei when I was 17, and he encouraged and supported my interest in pursuing politics as a passion and as a career. He's continued to do amazing things in the two decades since, and I'm thrilled to see him running for Congress in the #AZ01.
I’m excited to announce I'm running for Congress in #AZ01!
This is our moment to expand opportunity and fairness, fight the climate crisis, and defend democracy and our freedoms – including women's right to choose. Arizonans deserve better than David Schweikert.
We've lost another titan of jazz. Go see these older legends play live while you still can. #RamseyLewis nytimes.com/2022/09/12/arts/…

Surprised and thrilled to find Sonny Rollins in my podcast feed this morning, courtesy of @BrokenRecord. There’s no greater living jazz legend than Sonny. overcast.fm/+K89kTmb5M

Fun baseball stat of the day: In his 2012 rookie season, Mike Trout stole 3 bases in a game three times. Since the start of the 2020 season, he has stolen 3 bases total. #MikeTrout #Baseball

I was fortunate enough to attend schools with fantastic music programs (thanks @ChaminadeCCP!), and know that this will be as big a part of EVH’s legacy as his music was. americansongwriter.com/eddie…
