Too many use religion to gain power and not enough use religion to gain humility.

Since the oligarchs won’t take ads for the film, let’s all post this:

Hell. We’re in hell.
Welp.
According to Semafor, David Ellison has discussed bringing Elon Musk on as an investor in Paramount's merger with Warner Bros., which could mean Musk could have a stake in CBS News and CNN.

Universal Pictures, owned by Comcast, appears to be moving toward canceling the upcoming North America release of the Musk documentary, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The documentary’s director, Alex Gibney, recently told the Associated Press that the Musk doc left those who know Elon terrified.
A final decision has not been made, reportedly, but after Amazon dropped the OpenAI movie there appears to be a trend of companies bowing to tech oligarchs and refusing to air films about them.

A new NBC poll found 81% of Americans believe the government is not doing enough to regulate AI.
They’re right.

People see "AMC launching an indie label" and think they're becoming A24, but everyone missed the actual business model
AMC isn't spending a single dollar on producing or acquiring these movies. They created Leawood Films because they have thousands of empty screens on weekdays and need content to fill them.
Filmmakers have to fully fund their own movies, and in exchange, AMC guarantees screen time and lets them keep their IP. It’s essentially DistroKid or self-publishing for movie theaters.
Indie creators say this is a dream lifeline to bypass festival gatekeepers. Film purists say shifting all financial risk onto broke filmmakers while AMC collects ticket and popcorn fees is crazy.

This is the energy we’ve needed from big media companies. Thank you @ABC!
Disney’s ABC has filed a First Amendment lawsuit against the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
ABC’s lawyers claim the Trump administration has “attacked ABC’s speech” on multiple occasions, including “the stories its journalists report and the viewpoints its network programs air. Over time, those attacks have escalated into express demands that ABC be stripped of its broadcast licenses because of its speech.”
The company says it's being punished for editorial decisions and news coverage and has “no alternative means to eliminate these ongoing and immediate threats other than total capitulation to the Administration’s demands."

Back on the internet, I guess.
I'm back with a new video review of Peacock, a streaming service that has raised its prices and removed shows and movies while offering limited value. Check out why you (probably) shouldn't subscribe to Peacock.
