Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of attending the Football Business Summit Asia Conference at the iconic Shibuya Stream in Tokyo, presented by Ganassa LLC, Football Services in East Asia. Without question, this was one of the most impressive conferences I have had the pleasure of both attending and participating in. I was honored to be part of a speakers panel featuring representatives from some of the world’s leading clubs in football development, including Borussia Dortmund, Feyenoord Rotterdam N.V. and KRC Genk. It was truly an honor to have a seat at the table alongside such distinguished organizations to discuss Youth Development. Football Starts at Home is gaining alot of traction, included in discussions with the Worlds Best! A very special thank you to my dear friend Cesare Polenghi, a person of tremendous passion, vision, and, perhaps most importantly, follow-through. I remember when Cesare first started thinking about putting this event together several years ago. There was clearly a great deal of careful thought, planning, and persistence behind the vision, and he ultimately accomplished something that had never been done before in Japan: bringing together some of the biggest football clubs in the world, J.League clubs, and senior officials from the Japan Football Association under one roof. There has never been a conference quite like this in Japan, and Cesare made it happen. I have no doubt that the Football Business Summit Asia will continue to grow year after year, becoming even bigger and more impactful as it evolves. I am excited to see what the future holds for this incredible event. I believe its future will be extraordinary. Congratulations, Cesare, and thank you for creating an event that brings the global football community together in Japan. ⚽️🇯🇵
