One of my teacher's quote for the day! Truly gives you something to think about. @ManvelHS

@ManvelHS teachers are one of the best at making the first week of school awesome!

This week has been awesome getting into classrooms and seeing teachers build relationships with students and build peer collaboration skills.

Even our staff joined in on the fun

Yesterday"s campus summer academy @ManvelHS was a great way to kick off the 2021-22 school year. Thanks to my fabulous math dpt for joining in on some scavenger hunt fun with their teams.

Thanks @CKerr01 and @AlvinISD curriculum dpt for an amazing virtual district day of learning about small group instruction. Even my fur baby wanted to join in. #nextgenhsmath ⏭️

"Pull a Point" was intense in Alg 1. Teacher Goal - ss practicing solo then collaborating w/ or teaching their group how to simplify exponential expressions. Ss Goal - get the ? correct & explain the process so they can STEAL another team's point. @ManvelHS @AlvinISD_Math
