🇷🇼 Development becomes meaningful when its benefits reach the people. Putting citizens at the center of national development is essential to building a stronger Rwanda. #Rwanda
This is the Rwanda H.E Paul Kagame promised us. Complex heart surgery now done in #Rwanda, by Rwandan doctors, for Rwandans. No more flying abroad. From ashes to self-reliance, saving our own lives. Proud to have a visionary leader who puts people first. 🇷🇼
STATEMENT CONDEMNING THE ABUSE OF CONGOLESE CITIZENS 🇨🇩🕊️
We strongly condemn the abuse of citizens in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and express concern over the alleged involvement of the Government of Kinshasa and its institutions in these acts.
The people of Congo have the right to live in peace, security, and dignity. Citizens should never be mistreated by those whose responsibility is to protect them.
We call on the Government of Kinshasa to respect human rights, put an end to all acts of abuse, and ensure independent investigations into allegations involving state institutions, so that the truth can be established and justice can be served.
A government must protect its citizens, respect their rights, and safeguard them from abuse rather than contribute to actions that threaten their well-being.
We stand for justice, peace, and dignity for every Congolese person, regardless of their ethnic background or where they live. The people deserve leadership that respects them and protects their rights.
🕊️ SAY NO TO ABUSE!

The #mercenary of Tshilombo appeared to be completely #ignored during her encounter with U.S. President @realDonaldTrump . The scene, as perceived by many observers, raises questions about the level of attention and recognition she actually received during the engagement.
If this pattern continues, the next encounter could be even less welcoming. She may find herself facing a much colder reception and, according to her critics, could even be sent back to Kabeya-Kamwanga.
The message from this episode is straightforward: political theatrics, empty rhetoric, and attempts to create an impression of influence do not necessarily translate into genuine recognition or respect.
Americans, as the saying goes, do not have much patience for what they consider political nonsense. What ultimately matters is credibility, substance, diplomacy, and the ability to engage seriously with people and institutions.
The #Tshilombo camp should therefore take note of the way its representatives are perceived internationally. Instead of relying on grand claims, political labels, or appearances, the focus should be on concrete results, respectful diplomacy, and meaningful engagement.
The reaction to this encounter will undoubtedly continue to generate debate, particularly among those following political developments in the Democratic Republic of Congo and its relations with the United States.@UNHumanRights @MONUSCO @hrw @amnesty @ICRC @_AfricanUnion @ACHPR @eu_eeas @StateDRL @FCDOHumanRights @francediplo @GermanyDiplo @mfa_russia @RwandaMFA @Presidence_RDC

WHY IS THE WORLD WATCHING IN SILENCE?
If Félix Tshisekedi’s government has the responsibility to protect the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo, why are civilians reportedly being targeted because they are Tutsi or Kinyarwanda-speaking?
UN reports have documented allegations of violence, discrimination and hate speech targeting Banyamulenge and Congolese Tutsi communities, as well as abuses involving members of the state security forces.
But the bigger question remains:
Why does the international community continue to watch while civilians are killed or attacked because of their ethnicity or identity?
Why is the international community not demanding stronger accountability from Tshisekedi’s government for the protection of these communities?
Why are hate speech and attacks targeting Tutsi and Banyamulenge communities not receiving the level of international attention that such allegations deserve?
If a government has a duty to protect its citizens, who should be held accountable when those citizens are not protected?
The world should not wait for the death toll to rise before asking these difficult questions.

URGENT APPEAL: THE WORLD MUST ACT TO SAVE TUTSI CIVILIANS IN THE DRC
To everyone with a compassionate heart and a voice that can be heard:
Those who can speak out, those who can raise the alarm, and those who have the power to help protect Tutsi civilians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo—please act.
Here are some of the horrifying acts taking place, acts that cannot be tolerated. We appeal to international organizations and to individuals who have the ability to raise the alarm and help those in danger: stand up and help protect Tutsi people in the Congo.
If military authorities are encouraging the population to hate Tutsis, while other people supported by the government are saying that Tutsis and Rwandans are “flies” and that killing them is not a crime, then what is happening in the DRC cannot continue to be ignored.
People of the world, will you truly remain silent while Tutsi civilians in the DRC are being killed and persecuted?
The world must not wait until it is too late.
The international community must stand up, speak out, and act to protect civilians at risk. What is happening to Tutsis in the DRC demands the world's attention and immediate action.

Serious questions remain regarding allegations that some armed groups, including the FDLR and Wazalendo, have been involved in acts of violence against civilians.
If there is evidence of collaboration with or support for groups accused of abuses, those allegations must be investigated independently and transparently.
The critical question is this: who is protecting civilians, and who will be held accountable when their rights are violated?
The people of Congo need truth, justice, and protection regardless of which side or group is accused of abuses.@POTUS @WhiteHouse @StateDept @StateDRL @USUN

Is this the country that keeps crying before the United Nations, while the government of this country tortures its own citizens and then takes cameras to show the world such atrocities? Human rights organizations, the United States of America, and the United Nations—you know about these things and you see them, so why do you ignore them and continue supporting these abuses committed by the government of Tshisekedi? Look at these horrifying acts and what is being done to people.
In the areas under the control of the Kinshasa regime, Congolese from the East continue to be targeted, arrested, tortured, humiliated, and accused without evidence, simply because of their identity, names, or appearance.
No Congolese should be persecuted in their own country because of their name, language, or origin. Congo belongs to all its citizens.

Urgent Appeal to the World
We call on the international community, the United Nations (@UN ), the African Union (#AU ), and human rights organizations not to stand by.Congolese citizens continue to be arrested, beaten, tortured, and humiliated because of their names, ethnicity, or origin. These acts are carried out by the Congolese government through its armed forces (#FARDC ), security services, and allied groups. Reports from international organizations indicate that some are killed and others forced to flee their homes.
No citizen should be persecuted in their own country, least of all by the institutions meant to protect them. Congo belongs to all Congolese; no one is above another.
We demand:The Congolese government immediately stop the persecution and killing of civilians.
An independent and impartial investigation into all acts of violence.Accountability for all those responsible, regardless of their position. Protection for all civilians without discrimination.
An end to hate speech and discrimination.Equal citizenship rights for all Congolese.
The world must not remain silent. Silence in the face of injustice is complicity.

What is happening in the DRC is not something that should be ignored. It is a serious crisis that requires the international community and African countries to carefully examine the role of every party, including the actions and decisions of the Congolese government.
President Félix Tshisekedi and the government he leads have a responsibility to prioritize the safety and lives of civilians. No political or other interests should be used as a reason to prolong violence or the suffering of innocent people. The people of Congo deserve peace, security, justice, and dignity.
Lasting peace will not be achieved by blaming only one side. What is needed is truth, dialogue, respect for human rights, and accountability for the actions of all parties involved.@amnesty @hrw @UNHumanRights @FrontLineHRD @CIVICUSalliance @ICRC @fidh_en @HumanRights1st @RightsWatch @GlobalRights @RightsDefenders
The Democratic Republic of #Congo (#DRC ) is reportedly experiencing a very serious #Ebola outbreak. According to the information you shared, 4,018 people have died, making it the country’s deadliest Ebola outbreak on record.
The outbreak reportedly began in May 2026 and has affected seven provinces. More than 2,000 people have recovered.
Health workers are facing major challenges, including:
Insecurity in affected areas
Limited medical resources
Mistrust within some communities
Difficulty reaching people in remote or affected areas
Although Ebola transmission has slowed in some locations, new cases are still being reported elsewhere, so health authorities continue to treat the situation as a major public-health emergency.@UN @NATO @EU_Commission @Europarl_EN @WhiteHouse @POTUS @10DowningStreet @FCDOGovUK @Canada @France @Germany @Sweden @SwedishPM @NorwayMFA @DanishMFA @Australia @dfat @MFATNZ
