This was a fun project! When we set out to integrate the Raycast extension ecosystem with AI, we knew that the extensions Commands weren't the right abstraction for AI to interact with. We needed a lower-level building block: Tools. Tools are really just functions

And because Tools are just a function, you can import them in the extension Commands directly to use them there. Tools becomes this lower-level building blocks that contain your business logic.

Claude and I made an app that only shows you where you’ve already been. It’s quite interesting, already made me look for paths to reveal parts of the map It’s called FOWIRL - Fog Of War In Real Life 😂
