Why do some trucking companies only trust older drivers? Because this job needs sober, mature judgement every single kilometre. Watch this dashcam footage from a truck accident in Mongu and count the decisions that could have been made differently. The truth is, good judgement is not about age. Young or experienced, any driver can learn to read the road, stay calm and make the safe choice. That is what defensive driving training builds. Train your drivers before the road tests them.
