@ISBEnews released district and school level data from the IAR and SAT today. Statewide, declines for all students were in math, younger students showed a greater drop in overall scores and English learners saw the biggest drop of all student groups. bit.ly/31lyHcP

Math tasks do not teach. They provide opportunities for teachers & students to learn & deepen their mathematical skills, understanding & knowledge. How we engage with the tasks (questions, context, environment etc.,) determines the qualitity & depth of the teaching & learning.
