ALT Fig shows leaks in the pipeline representing the patient pathway for adults with acquired hearing loss. The percentages of patients leaving the pathway before the next stage are 34.3% at Acknowledgment of hearing loss, 38.2% at disclosure to primary care, 17.4 and 30.2 at referral to ENT/audiology and HA recommendation respectively, 26.7% at concordance with recommendation and 26.7% for adherence to treatment.
