“Made in Aba” has been used as a slur for as long as I can remember, but gradually, we’re changing the narrative. We’re wearing Made in Aba clothes, buying Made in Aba shoes, promoting Made in Aba products, and proudly telling the world that they were made in Aba.
Because quality products can be made in Aba too.
Crying about a stereotype on social media won’t change shit. Find a way to flip the narrative, turn the thing people used to mock into something people are proud to associate with, and eventually, a stereotype can become a brand.
That’s how you change the narrative.
