This is something more DB’s and WR’s need to work on. Instead of doing all the footwork stuff.. get a body in front of you and work both off the LOS and also within the route shedding defenders and also vs the DB/WR in the route itself, hand fighting.

You can Spill Counter, you can Box Counter or you can Splatter Counter 😤
Love this insight from @KurtBenkert on the importance of a QB changing their arm angle to get enough on throws

Offensive adjustments I expect both teams to make
Eagles: PA pass with Crossers and Deep Outs. Chiefs are relying on their whole defense to stop Saquon and those extra eyes in the backfield should open those up
Chiefs: they can’t block the Eagles DL so I expect quick game, screens, and misdirection runs like end arounds
Bunch is a great formation for both the run and pass game. It adds gaps in the run game that the defense has to account for. The tight splits put strains on defenses because of the easy switch releases it creates. Here are some great pass concepts out of bunch
Curl, wheel: pure progression. 1. Curl 2. Wheel 3. back. If blitzed, the QB can hit the drag if it’s replacing the blitz
Power, some might say that it’s the best play in football. It’s simple and when ran correctly, might be one of the most beautiful plays in football. So, how do you run it? 🧵
