One of the things we love most at Bloody Scotland is discovering and nurturing new talent, so we're very excited to reveal this year's Pitch Perfect hopefuls - will one of them join the more than 25 authors who have secured a publishing deal as a result of appearing? – at Glasgow, Scotland
I once trolled Mumsnet with "my 5 year old won't drink coffee unless I put 4 or 5 sugars in it, is this normal?" If you were one of the outraged mums rushing to defend my kids from caffeine - I'm not in the least sorry. It was glorious.
Hot take: any chart record set after 2010 does not count
BREAKING: Sam Fender and Olivia Dean make chart history as "Rein Me In" breaks 73-year record for most weeks at UK number one

Great idea - Glasgow gives you big city, sleepy suburbs, varied countryside, abandoned industrial sites, a gothic university, subway tunnels, quarries and mountains all within 30 mile radius. Could make Who great again. Go for it @bbcdoctorwho

Sam Neill with a great ‘fart story, and Jeff Goldblum with a great ‘fart story’ put-down.

Terrible about that Ryanair flight. A window blew out (£7 fresh air), a man’s head was sucked outside the plane (£19 scenic view), oxygen masks deployed (£15) and they landed back in Greece (£450 holiday extension). Everyone’s safe though (£70 wellness fee) so that’s good.

What an incredible season! Basketball fans everywhere will remember the team that embodied New York grit, never quit, and battled to the final buzzer. Congratulations to James Dolan, Coach Mike Brown, Captain Jalen Brunson, every member of the New York Knicks organization, and the loyal Knicks faithful who waited 53 years to celebrate this championship!

You don’t understand the stranglehold this Nescafé Gold Blend advert had on the UK because of Anthony Head (long before he was in Buffy)

It's American publication day for 138 MAIN! Celebrating by visiting 138 Main Street where I grew up, which as luck would have it is a pub 🍻
What's at 138 Main where you live?

Great interview by Sally McDonald in the @Sunday_Post today, which has reminded me I still need to have that 🍺in the pub at 138 Main Street, Cambuslang

Drove from Newcastle to Bristol and back again last weekend and the journey flew by thanks to the audio book of 138 Main Street, a fast-paced thriller with a great central idea and a brilliant tag line written by @SouthsideGav (also known as @MasonCrossBooks) Highly recommended
Lots of eye opening material, but none more so than the revelation he managed to spend over 80 quid on 2kg of Gold Blend

Really happy with this 5 star Pick of the Week review in the Sun:
"Nail-biting and compulsive, this is thriller storytelling at its most tense"

ICYMI, a great thriller if you're in need of a fast-paced read for the weekend or to stash for your holiday...
New review! 138 Main Street by @SouthsideGav (pub
@simonschuster thx @RandomTTours) - "There's a killer on the loose in America and he chooses his victims by their address ... It's an intriguing and unsettling idea from the off."
