One of my #CNFT moments from 2022 was when I rejoined @MaskedOnButtons and got myself one of the only 100 OGs!

@MaskedOnButtons OG project that's hit every target on their roadmap so far. Deserves so much love and is criminally undervalued

5/ Philosophy
Alex views herself as a part of a grand narrative where she plays a small role in the interpretation and reinterpretation of symbols.
Boldness drives to truth and understanding, instead of timidity and playing it safe. Art itself is a higher pursuit.

6/ Self-Reflection
Art is Alex's means of understanding herself and her surroundings better. Often the message and influences behind an artwork are only evident in retrospect
As a kid she did what seemed cool, now she still does that, but she's aware she's part of a dialogue.

7/ Present
Alex is a freelance artist creating digital and traditional arts, particularly metal and mixed media sculptures. She recently participated in a public art project with her mentor
Presently she's juggling her MFA studies, and building the NFT project @MaskedOnButtons

8/ Masked on Buttons
The MOB is a collection that launched in September of last year.
It's an experiment in community-driven lore where people have to solve puzzles and roleplay. Some of the characters in the collection are animated and have an original soundtrack.

9/ Future
As part of her art/academic research, she wants to help other traditional local artists to utilize the beauty of blockchain technology in their own works and for them to take part in the Cardano community to participate in the grand dialogue.

10/ A message
"I thank the CNFTCommunity, especially our MOB fam with all my heart. There are ups and downs but having a supportive community and finding beloved friends help us to move forward. If life is absurd right now, I hope that we continue to find meaning."
