marxists should not be struggling to understand covid-19 is not "endemic" and is rather still a pandemic because capitalists take every crisis and say nothing can be done about it.

The lack of masking/disability praxis in most communist orgs is a part of what drew me away from the PatSoc scum and towards decolonial communism. All struggles are intertwined. I often wonder if these "Marxists" read the same books that I did. COVID is a labour issue.
To the “actual” communists whose feelings were hurt by my posts, where was all this buzz last year when disabled people were being torn apart by these orgs for demanding inclusion in their spaces?
Orgs and people like:
• ACP
• PSL
• DSA
• Large accounts with ☭ in their display name or bio who sling ableist slurs
• Presidential candidates who ran on quasi-socialist policies while ignoring disabled voices
Your smoke should be reserved for them. They’re making YOU look bad.

I'm keeping this account open to have contact with the people I've met on here, but other than that I'm out. I don't see anything good coming of organizing on a fascist owned platform. Stay safe comrades.

Right now we’re in it but if you were to look back at this era w the benefit of a century it would be CLEAR that the pandemic, just like in 1918, accelerated fascism as it brought eugenicist ideas into the mainstream

One interesting thing I've noticed is I'll make a joke or comment about how it feels to mask as a neurodivergent person and I'll get the reply "Like as in how you wear a mask or the behaviour" and every time I rethink the sentence and it really could be either or.
