Across many countries, we are witnessing an alarming crackdown: trade unionists being sacked or blacklisted, cultural workers are silenced, and campaigners being harassed or criminalised for their solidarity with Palestine.

So you’re telling me there’s a new Miley album out AND riots in LA with people throwing Lime scooters at cop cars from overpasses, BUT Joshua Clover isn’t alive to post about it.
HOW is the world still turning?

one thing about joshua that is perhaps obvious, but has been made clear by all of the rememberances is just how much he collaborated and co-authored. not something you see a lot of in our neck of the disciplinary woods.

with the exception of Brazilian Is Not A Race, every chabook & book people have read of mine--the poems were picked out by me & Joshua, ordered by Joshua & Joshua basically came up with the titles. Rarely did he have an edit suggestion when it came to the individual poems. Point is: I couldn't have put out that work without him.
Joshua was not the only person to approach me about publishing my first full length book of poetry but he is the only person who approached me abt a book & then accepted a no with an ask that he publish this chapbook i was working on called Brazilian Is Not A Race (he was like "sure, whatever"--lol) & who reveled w me at how it pissed off all these careerists anti-communists in poetryland lol & then approached me about publishing a full length manuscript again a year later--which I agreed to. I remember telling him, when he asked again, "I like our project." Thank you, Joshua, for giving so much of yourself to our project 🖤
