The real answer here is that King writes comics that appeal to new readers. He exceeds their expectations because technically his books have ‘themes and such’ even if his plotting and scripts are extremely vapid and amateurish
I mean, you’re supposed to judge the book by its cover

People always say "It's not like that at all you just pick what one you want to read from a particular run and go from there"
Which sounds fine on paper but if you're not versed in how comics work how the hell are you supposed to know what you might want to read?
You can tell Jim Hammond larping very easily because no real Jimhead gives a FUCK about him and Vision

The idea of Jim Hammond being Tony Stark’s first AI is enough to make me end it all
Replying to @cosmic_marvel
they're gonna say (hopefully) the design and programming for Jim Hammond served as model for all AIs Tony ended up creating, that's why the "first of us" and probably Jim Hammond of face was Paul Bettanys, and that's why Vision perceives himself with that face
Back in the day Scott Summers couldn’t use the word ‘oppression’ without being strapped to the electric chair. Nowadays punished-Tony Stark and Reed Richards will tell you ‘communism is the only way’
Would be nice if DC did a compendium of Alan Grant’s 90s Demon run. Especially now that they’re reprinting Ennis
Just a strange ass backhanded thing to say lol
