Fish Legal leading the way ... Natural Resources Wales accept publicly for the first time that poultry industry is damaging river Wye
Fish Legal (@FishLegal_) profile pictureFish Legal@FishLegal_29 Nov 2022
“This is scandalous” @NatResWales sneak out a report which confirms both the link between intensive poultry units and damage to #RiverWye SAC species and the gap in the regulatory regime to address it. A thread explaining all... 🧵⬇️

@MartinSBowler takes a break from the temperate waters of England in search of unfamiliar exotic species. He found that and more at Jurassic. jurassicfishingthailand.com enquiries@jurassicfishingthailand.com #JurassicMountainFishingPark #Fish #Tambaqui #TheAnglingTimes #StickyBaits

Hey @EnvAgency Me again! When I paid £82 for my rod license I read carefully the advice about our impact on the environment. Saw this today & would like your advice. Is there something I could do to stop this environmental disaster or is your work included in the £82? #Riverwye

The @EnvAgency code of conduct for canoeing on the Wye states that ignoring advice not to pull up on gravels could result in a criminal offence and subject to enforcement. Here’s one of the canoe companies promoting this breach so they can sell more canoeing…

Later today I'm heading out to Thailand but this time I hope it's not me but Alan Blair cradling a monster fish from Jurassic. He's my guest for the next week and I can't wait to see him fighting some of the lake's huge residents.

Well, that was a busy few days on the lake - 100lb+ carp and for one very happy angler this monstrous Salween catfish. At 115 lb this river monster is one of the largest of its species in a day ticket fishery in Thailand.
