A full reconstruction of the case Arsenal could build against City — and how City would try to defeat it.

Great read by Paul on potential compensation claims against Man City. I have some slightly different takes and I am in the process of writing my own report. But I mentioned some numbers in yesterday’s pod on @LatteFirm so I wanted to post them as follow up now. These are the claims I modelled for the 4 clubs that reserved their rights to sue City. The numbers are obviously heavily assumption-driven and the clubs will likely have much better, more robust assumptions than I do. So treat them as indicative. Arsenal’s number also includes a novel argument which if successfully rebutted, would lead to a claim half the size. But I think the argument is strong.
