PEPE on Bitcoin just got a boost on the ORDI pool.
@bestinslotxyz raised rewards 1.5x on the PEPE/ORDI pair. This is the original one, deployed 9 March 2023, 36 days before the Ethereum version, and the 4th BRC-20 ever inscribed after ORDI, MEME and PUNK. Fixed 42.069M supply, free and fair mint, no owner.
It was already on Bitcoin before the bigger PEPE narrative took off elsewhere.
Most people still treat the Ethereum one as the default. This one has been sitting on Bitcoin the whole time with almost no infrastructure until recently. Now there’s an actual liquidity pool against ORDI and the rewards just went up.
The narrative is simple because the timeline is already settled. Whether that turns into real volume is the open part.

Its a 3/2D game, which means the entire world is 3D with 2D monsters and items, from the original build.
Everything is modeled, not AI, ai is TRASH at making 3D and I find it easier to just do it myself instead of trying to explain what I want

Bitcoin is the biggest name in crypto. I believe its token ecosystem is still waiting for a meme that makes the wider market pay attention.
For me, that’s PEPE on Bitcoin.
I minted early BRC-20 tokens out of curiosity. There was no finished ecosystem or polished roadmap. We were participating in an experiment, figuring it out as we went.
That beginning matters. Minting was open to anyone who discovered it and paid the Bitcoin transaction fees. You didn’t need an influencer’s allocation or a private invitation.
New protocols can bring better technology. They cannot recreate that moment.
For years, trading infrastructure struggled to catch up. Now builders, including the team behind BISDEX, are creating more ways to trade Bitcoin tokens. There is still work ahead, but the ecosystem is moving.
ORDI deserves a central place in that story. Its history as the first BRC-20 cannot be reproduced. If more trading pairs use ORDI and attract lasting activity, that could give it a growing role in the ecosystem’s liquidity.
But which token could become its standout meme?
My answer is PEPE.
PEPE BRC-20 was deployed on March 9, 2023, 36 days before Ethereum PEPE’s April 14 deployment. Its supply is 42,069,000. Those familiar 42069 digits were already there.
If anyone copied the supply digits, it was ETH PEPE. Bitcoin PEPE had them 36 days earlier.
Ethereum PEPE showed how much attention a frog can attract. I don’t see its success as a ceiling for Bitcoin’s frog.
I see a question still waiting to be answered: what happens when Bitcoin tokens become easier to discover, access and trade?
An exchange decides what it lists. A community decides what it builds.
History gives PEPE on Bitcoin a story. Builders and its community have to turn that story into something people want to join.
I believe it can and ultimately challenge Ethereum PEPE.
Bitcoin has a habit of making “impossible” age badly.
I wouldn’t dismiss its frog.
