ct still thinks zksync is the 2024 airdrop chain
meanwhile they spent the last two years building for banks.....
banks cant put client data on a public chain
and they wont run on infrastructure they dont control
prividium fixes both
> the bank runs its own private chain
> ethereum verifies it with zk proofs
cari launched in march with huntington, first horizon, m&t, keycorp and old national as design partners
still pre-production but 30+ banks have joined and put in $32.5m
the bundesbank is testing the open source prividium core in its own infrastructure
and theres an announcement at money2020 on wednesday 👀
you wont see any of this on an L2 dashboard because these chains are private by design
ct is still pricing $ZK like its the airdrop chain
that gap closes soon

why i bought some $ZK
everyone keeps looking at metrics
that tells you almost nothing about what zksync has been building
banks have two hard constraints
client data can't sit on a public ledger
and they won't run money-moving systems on infrastructure they don't control
ZK's prividium is built around both
an institution runs its own private chain
ethereum verifies the work with zk proofs, without seeing the private data
what's public so far:
cari is a tokenized deposit network on prividium, still in pre-production, with huntington, first horizon, m&t, keycorp and old national as design partners
they say 30+ banks have joined and $32.5m was raised from banks
the deutsche bundesbank is testing the open-source prividium core (apache 2.0) in its own infrastructure
nexbridge is bringing that same stack to japanese banks, trust banks and securities firms
none of this shows up on a dashboard
private chains don't
seems undervalued
long institutional adoption

Big congratulations to the @zksync airbender team for this milestone.
At this point, I consider the battle for speed to be definitively won, and the top priority for zkEVMs should shift fully to security.
To me that means formally verifying
(i) equivalence of the arithmetization to the ethereum spec
(ii) a hard maximum bound on (prover cost) / (amount of gas in block)
(iii) security of the proof system itself

Finally, @ZKsync gets the recognition it has earned. 🏆
Today, @VitalikButerin congratulated the ZKsync Airbender team and declared the speed battle won.
So what does being the fastest prover actually mean, and what data backs it up?
Here is the explanation. 🧵

Last time Vitalik gave a s/o to $Zk, it 3xd in 3-5 days and market was equally sh*t.
This time around the ZK update is bigger and makes it fundamentally stronger while privacy narrative is also running hot.
How high is $ZK going this time given it's at 180m mcap.

the speed race for zkEVMs might just be over.
@zksync's Airbender is pushing zk proving toward real-time performance.
this way, ethereum can scale without compromising security.
now, zkEVMs can generate proofs that transactions were executed correctly.
these proofs can help Ethereum verify execution without repeating every computational step.
verification will become more efficient, and scalability will go through the roof.
but faster proving also needs strong guarantees behind the scenes.
> the math must match Ethereum's specifications.
> proving costs must stay within set limits.
> the cryptographic proof system must remain secure.
the first helps ensure execution follows Ethereum's rules.
the second makes proving costs more predictable under demanding workloads.
the third protects against attackers producing proofs for invalid computations.
there are so many possibilities from this.
faster proofs will scale Ethereum, but correctness has to preserve trust.
stronger security guarantees also make ZK infra more dependable as adoption grows.
the Airbender's performance is an important milestone.
and it is a step toward that future.
now we can combine speed, affordability, and security at scale.
this is will build a stronger foundation for Ethereum's future.
it looks so good from here.

🚨ZKSYNC SURGES AS VITALIK DECLARES THE ZK SPEED RACE WON!
ethereum:0x66a5cfb2e9c529f14fe6364ad1075df3a649c0a5 is climbing while the broader market faces selling pressure after @VitalikButerin said the battle for zkEVM speed is definitively over.
He congratulated ZKsync on Airbender Prime, which proved 99% of 7,200 Ethereum blocks in under 10 seconds on a single GPU, and said the focus must now shift fully to security.
Vitalik Wants ZkEVM Developers to Stop Chasing Speed and Fix Security
Vitalik Buterin (@VitalikButerin) says zkEVMs have effectively won the race for speed.
His comments followed ZKsync’s (@zksync) ethereum:0x66a5cfb2e9c529f14fe6364ad1075df3a649c0a5 Airbender Prime milestone, which verified 99% of 7,200 Ethereum ethereum:native mainnet blocks in under 10 seconds each. It ran on a single NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU.
"At this point, I consider the battle for speed to be definitively won, and the top priority for zkEVMs should shift fully to security," Vitalik noted.
Vitalik now wants developers to prioritize formal verification and proof system security.
On to the next challenge 🫡

Vitalik just said AI could break today's crypto math years ahead of schedule.
@zksync's answer was Airbender, Atlas, and Prividium, hash-based proofs, no elliptic curves, no lattices, nothing to crack.
Memento Chain was built the same way from day one, powered by that same hash-based Airbender proving layer. Zero-knowledge, private by design, nothing exposed for an AI to go find.
Already prepared isn't a headline. It's the architecture.
