Exciting to arrive here in Lichfield to see ITV News covering our new play 24.02.22 WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES which premieres tonight at Lichfield Cathedral. All the real people featured in the play will be in the audiences to see their words brought to life!

I was a political opposite of @Bonn1eGreer but we always got on well. Last year we sat next to each other on the train from London to BBC Question Time in Hartlepool - outward and return. We didn't stop tslking for a second and shared some very personal things in each of our lives. You wouldn't have had a clue about any of that if you watched that week's Question Time. We clashed on everythng! But politics is - or should be - only a small slice of life. Friendship, family and kindness are so much bigger and more important. Certainly more sustaining. I feel sad I'll never have another train journey with Bonnie but we didn't waste the one we had ❤️.

A head was recovering from breast cancer surgery. The school asked Ofsted to defer. The reply was a three-line letter with no explanation.
A colleague two weeks into the job covered. The head still went in the night before.

My daughter is in a system where her only outcome is failure.
She is not 'academic' but education tells me I should have a relentless ambition for her to be so.
Our system isn't 'high ambition' it's 'high failure'.
I am all for 'knowledge-rich' but education needs to be more...
