Don’t be fooled by Eyelashes Andy: his Government is still planning to curb our right to a jury trial.
It may be even more sinister than Sir Keir Starmer’s approach, because at least he was open about what he intended to do.
Ministers could extend jury-less trials “by a stroke of a pen”. That should send a shiver down the spine of anyone who values English liberty — particularly free speech.
Ministers could extend juryless trials ‘by a stroke of a pen’

A new power to switch crimes to judge-only hearings without parliamentary scrutiny could be abused by future governments, leading barristers fear
“Flora Page KC, who represented victims of the Post Office Horizon scandal in the public inquiry, said: “It’s the power, without any proper parliamentary scrutiny, to create new offences which will have juryless trials that really worries me. It’s bad enough getting rid of juries in serious fraud cases, which troubles me already, but at least that’s out there, that’s in the legislation. What I find really troubling is the idea that any serious or complex case could, by a stroke of a pen and a statutory instrument, become another judge-only trial.”
“Let’s say officials or ministers were involved, and the police bring charges because they think that’s appropriate, and then the government could probably do pretty quickly a statutory instrument to say, ‘Right, that’s a judge-only trial’.
And then you’ve got a political trial being heard without the sort of public scrutiny it otherwise would have, and without members of the public deciding on guilt or not guilt.”

A lot is now being explained
The BBC has betrayed the British public
Shame on them !
Civil servants were embedded inside the BBC newsroom working on coverage of politically sensitive subjects including immigration, small boats and Covid.
And we are supposed to believe nobody saw an obvious problem with this? We all knew the BBC was a voice box for the government. Now we have the evidence.

Fucking hell, they just did it!
The BBC actually described the Islamo-leftist riots burning France to the ground as “MOSTLY PEACEFUL”!
But Danny Tommo puncturing a people smuggling boat is terrorism to them.
Defund them NOW!

Inside a human brain when reading a book.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video shows time-lapse of cultured neurons connecting via growth cones in a lab dish, not processes in a living human brain while reading. Similar real clips by Dr. Lila Landowski show developmental wiring; this one's exact source is unconfirmed.

In many areas now the BBC is a propaganda tool
🔥 Er … the BBC appears to be trying to brainwash our children.
Now, this should come as no surprise, because the BBC is a fully signed up member of the UN’s propaganda arm tasked with ensuring the narrative is prominently platformed.
Using the Bitesize website, the BBC teaches children about immigration, Net Zero and globalisation. And look what happens when children make the WRONG political choices.
If children choose to deport migrants, they lose points. But if they choose open borders they gain 3 points for the economy and 2 for public health.
If they decide open borders are too radical, they get ZERO points.
BBC Bitesize tells pupils that believing migrants take jobs from local people likely arises from prejudice!
Children are encouraged to petition local government over Net Zero, told they may need to fly less and eat less meat, and introduced to the wonderful promise of a borderless world.
The BBC appears to see its role as underpinning ‘correct’ thought and that legitimate contested political questions are settled science and only the global view wins the game!
And we are forced to pay for it🔥.

Truly horrendous news from Nottingham today that a Police Officer was shot in the line of duty. 😔
My thoughts are with our injured colleague, wishing them a very speedy recovery.
Thinking too of their friends, family and loved ones and of course colleagues.
