Just because two people share the same diagnosis doesn’t mean they’ll experience their mental illness identically.
It’s not a one-size-fits-all condition; everyone’s experience is completely different.

You might think self-love is all about bubble baths affirmations and pretty journals. However, true self-love is the harder quieter braver stuff no one talks about. It means:
✨ Saying “no” without a lengthy apology even when guilt tries to trip you up.
✨ Distancing yourself from people who drain your peace even if it feels lonely at first.
✨ Standing up for yourself and your needs when your voice shakes because you’re done shrinking to please others.
✨ Practising self-care on days you feel undeserving especially then.
✨ Being unapologetically yourself in places that wish you’d stay small.
It’s not always soft or cute but it’s the most powerful love you’ll ever give. The moment you start choosing yourself setting boundaries finding your voice resting and speaking your truth you finally come home to yourself. And you were always worth it. 💜

One brave whisper for help — a text, a call, or telling a friend — can redirect your path. You aren't a statistic; you're a unique person with worth. Don't wait: support and hope are often closer than they seem. #YouMatter #ReachOut

If today feels heavy, reach out. Text a friend or call someone who makes you feel secure. Speak the words even if they tremble.
You are not weak for needing others; you are brave for allowing them in.

You can’t just ‘snap out of it’ when you have depression and hearing you say that is harmful. It shows you have no understanding and don’t care enough to understand. No matter how hard you try to fight the thoughts, the darkness completely consumes you, feels like no way out.
