Good San Diego County Taxpayers Association Bourbon 🥃 & Ballots 🗳️ event last night at @UClubSanDiego (pardon the AI, but the photo had too much glare) @MarkKersey went over some highlights of their positions, which you can see here. sdtaxpayers.org/tracker What was interesting is the report card they gave individual cities, which was just released, but not on their website yet. Some local East County Cities included @CityofLaMesa: A-, @CityofSantee: B- and @CityofElCajon: D+ The lowest was @CityOfNatlCity and @CityofSanDiego, who both received F's 😭

He called it "Markland" (Land of Forest) 🌲 Leif Erikson reached the Americas 500 years before Columbus. Why doesn’t he get more credit? Accounts of ’s voyage to present-day Canada were known to Europeans in Christopher Columbus’s time. wapo.st/4jQfkia #ColumbusDay

I was in the San Diego @CA_DRE office today to file some paperwork for my companies, @SDCRE and @SDRRE. The location was much better than the last time I was there in Downtown San Diego. I hope the processing time is quicker than the four weeks, which I was told!

The ‘hopeless, bad people’ just won Donald Trump's World Cup The U.S. president has relentlessly targeted Spain. Its soccer stars just had the last laugh. Today, the president who in March dubbed the country a “loser” had to celebrate Spain as the winner of a #WorldCup that Trump worked to make his own. He handed the sports world’s greatest prize to captain Rodri in front of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, King Felipe VI and a global television audience of more than one billion. politico.com/news/2026/07/19… via @politico
