The @Irishheart_ie is enormously grateful to Minister @DonnellyStephen and @ColmBurkeTD for increasing the legal age of sale of tobacco to 21. It's another nail in the coffin of Big Tobacco and will have a huge long-term impact on Ireland's toll of 12 deaths a day from smoking.

Dublin Commuter Coalition have sent a letter to the DDC CEO Richard Shakespeare, calling for an emergency meeting to discuss the planned Transport Plan being watered down and potentially delayed.

The last thing #Dublin City centre is more cars and car parks.
Cities are for people and in order to have any kind of flourishing, healthy city, it needs to prioritise #walking, wheeling, public transport and #cycling
Not cars, they are unhealthy for human and planetary health
O’Leary suggested that authorities should be building car parks in the city centre to cater for the growing numbers who in the future will use electric cars to commute to Dublin.

(1/3) DCC, in partnership with the National Transport Authority, has published the draft Dublin City Centre Transport Plan 2023. The overall transport vision in this plan is for a low traffic city centre with public transport, walking and cycling being prioritised.
